Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage in California, is awaiting a decision from the Supreme Court. That Supreme Court trial inspired a new play that is based on that actual transcript from the courtroom. Cities across the country are staging readings of this new play, and All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church brought the play to Kansas City.
