They can tell you to use walking sticks, easier way to open cans or brush your teeth, and ways to make it easier to bathe. Even some daily activities like a special comb or something helpful to turn pages in a book an occupational therapist can provide you with the specialized equipment.

10. Addressing the needs of the patient, occupational therapists help people get back to daily activities. They want their patients to return to activities they want and use to participate in. By doing this they research information that would be most effective for the patient to return back to daily functions.
