The Crazy New GMO About to Land on Your Plate

The Crazy New GMO About to Land on Your Plate | Nutrition Today | Scoop.it

Tunji Akinseloyin's curator insight, August 20, 11:45 AM

Here we go again.

How do you like your food bathed in chemicals used in warfare ?

And you thought these people didn't care about you!

The profit mongers will never stop.

We, the consumers have to stop them.

All we need to do is refuse to buy their poison food

I know that may be hard to do.

But the first step is to let retailers know that we will not purchase foods not certified as Non-GMO.

Since politicians have been bought by these seed companies, we cannot rely on them to pass and enforce this kind of food labeling law

Monsanto and its ilk are not in it for your health-they are in it for profit

And if a few million die in this grand money scheme?

Oh, well, it is just the cost of doing business-the cost paid by you and me

But the seed companies,  politicians and the rich are in it for something even more sinister!

CONTROL!

Control food and you have total control over people, a nation.

Do not be surprised that in the near future, food will be used as a too for blackmail-in fact, I predict it!

This will happen after these seed companies, with the collusion of governments, the rich and powerful, succeed in destroying natural seeds.

There is something going on that  most of the public is NOT aware of.. This is a strong evidence that the prediction I made above is not off base

Did you know that a lot of wealthy people have invested heavily in seeds?

The question to ask is, why?

Why would these people,  whose  businesses are not even remotely connected to agriculture, invest in seeds?

The names of these investors include many you will recognize

Why?

Because these seeds and food WILL be used as..

1. Political tools

2. Ultimate blackmail products

3 Tools for business monopoly

3 Military strategy

They may not have to fire a single shot or deploy a single tank to bring a people or a nation to its collective knees

Can't happen, sounds too bizarre, right?

WRONG!

Not as bizarre as these poisoned food being pushed onto your dinner table even when all evidence have proved they are not safe.

Not as bizarre as dropping  bombs on  civilian population and calling the children killed, collateral damage

Not as bizarre as denying others the rights we arrogate to ourselves.

And when they resist, we call them militants and extremists

BIZARRE?

That's what Noah's  neighbors thought about prediction of the coming deluge.

That's because you have not taken stock lately, of what evil man has unleashed on his fellowman

If we do not mobilize and stop these profit mongers from killing us slowly....

..we would wake up one day, as cotton pickers on their plantations, and wonder how we got there.

Oh yes, you will then remember, that I told you so!

Top 10 Foods for Stress Relief | Healthy Eats – Food Network Healthy Living Blog | Nutrition Today | Scoop.it
Eat your way to a more relaxed state -- and no, we don't mean pigging out on high-calorie junk food. While there isn't a cure-all food to magically erase frustration, you can get some stress relief with a combo of exercising, eating small meals throughout the day and getting more of these 10 fresh goodies. 1. Whole-Wheat Pretzels Eating carbohydrate-rich foods gives you an energy boost and triggers the brain to release a feel-good chemical called serotonin. Opting for a whole-grain snack (cereals, pretzels, bread, crackers, etc.) provides extra fiber, too. 2. Carrots Munching on crunchy foods also helps beat stress. Nutrient-rich carrots, celery and other crunchy, fresh veggies offer satisfying crispness but won't bog you down with too many calories. 3. Tea Calm frazzled nerves with a steaming cup of your favorite tea blend. The soothing warmth and tea's plant compounds work together to level off your body's response to stress. 5 Foods to Eat for Cancer Prevention ("can be included in regular diet, cheap and easy to find")

5 Foods to Eat for Cancer Prevention ("can be included in regular diet, cheap and easy to find") | Nutrition Today | Scoop.it
Many of the top researched cancer-fighting foods are easy to find and simple to incorporate into your diet. Here are 5 foods to eat for cancer prevention.

1. Foods Rich in Lycopene

A recent study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute specifically looked at the effects of lycopene on angiogenesis in prostate cancer. They found remarkable results, determining “lycopene was associated with reduced risk of lethal prostate cancer and with a lesser degree of angiogenesis in the tumor.”

So, what foods give you the most lycopene? Tomatoes are a great source and are widely available. Other good sources of lycopene include: watermelon, guava, papaya, red bell peppers, asparagus, mango, and red cabbage.

2. Turmeric

Turmeric is one of the most powerful, researched anti-cancer foods out there. Its active component curcumin has been found to reduce certain types of tumors by 81%! Researchers at UCLA found that curcumin is the component harnessing the ability to actually block cancer growth. Not surprisingly, the cancer-fighting ability that turmeric possesses makes up only a single facet of the many benefits of turmeric.

3. Garlic4. Ginger5. Cruciferous Vegetables
