Lowering your triglycerides level is important. I believe people need to watch what they eat in order to lower it on account of the fact triglycerides is the main form of fat and have an excessive amount can cause obesity and poorly-managed diabetes. It's important to watch what kind of oils you use to cook, cut back on deep fried foods and snacks, and watching your portion size when eating out so you don't over eat! I believe just watching what you eat, even though it's so good, you need to make sure your eating the nutritional amount of food you need and limit your calorie intake.
Eating to lose weight may mean shifting your food around during the day.
Jesse Wieser's insight:
I have never thought about this method. Eating your carbs at dinner can help for the next day especially around lunch time and you're still hungry. Yes, that may mean no carbs at dinner but if your looking for energy and want to lose weight, I suggest trying to just eat your carbs at dinner. The article even showed a study sampling 78 officers and i'm surprised they were able to lose weight, body fat, and better measure their blood sugar and lipid levels opposed to the officers who ate carbs during the day. I might try this as well sometime in order to decrease my BMI and obtain a lean body.
Trader Joe's just can't catch a break lately. Earlier this year, the grocery chain recalled its chicken salad and onion products over a Listeria scare, and then it got caught up in the Sunland peanut salmonella outbreak.
Jesse Wieser's insight:
Many people go to Trader Joe's to find nutritional and organic food to buy and hearing their food is contaminated is appauling. The fact that people are buying the foods that can be contaminated is scary, since you think your eating a nutritional meal, it'll still be able to get you sick whether it was nutritional or not! The USDA really needs to step their game up when checking the food that is sold to people like us on account of the fact food poisoning is no joke. I've watched a documentary where a child ended up dying when the food was contaminated.
