As a doctor specialising in sports biology and nutrition, Jean-Louis Etienne has taken part in numerous expeditions. In 1986 he became the first man to reach the North Pole solo overland, pulling his own sled for 63 days.
Jean-Louis Etienne is also a totally committed environmentalist. He witnesses during his expeditions the effects of climate change, especially in the Polar Regions and he gives us his opinion on how to meet the global energy demand using, among others, nuclear power.
An exceptional interview written by Filip Markus, Guillaume Chaud and Sophie Missirian.
