'La mia scelta generale è stata quella di non appiattire il linguaggio rendendo a tutti i costi scorrevole il testo. Né mi sono arroccata su posizioni difficilmente comprensibili ai più. Dove c’era ambiguità semantica, invece, l’ho mantenuta nei limiti delle possibilità della lingua italiana.'
