Heard of Carlo Pazolini? We hadn't either, but they're a luxury Italian accessory brand launching in the UK and specifically their new store, in Westfield White City, this July.
We've been gazing amorously at their collection, and the bags have really stood out. What do you think?

Meet the woman from Le Marche who deals truffles to NYC's top restos

Meet the woman from Le Marche who deals truffles to NYC's top restos | Nostra Passione | Scoop.it

Sparvoli, 37, isn’t selling anything illegal. She’s selling truffles — specifically black Italian summer truffles and black winter truffles from Australia (a burgeoning growing region for the fungi given its opposite seasons) — to Pierre Schutz, the executive chef at the Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges.
Francesca Sparvoli wheels around an insulated bag filled with about $6,000 worth of black truffles. She sells the pricey fungi to top chefs around the city and is on call 24/7.
Two years ago, Sparvoli, a native of the Marche region of Italy and a former journalist, moved to New York City with her then-boyfriend, now-husband, businessman Marco Bassi, to break into the NYC truffle trade. She and Bassi had always wanted to move to the city after visiting several times to run marathons, and the truffle business is in her blood — her family has been dealing truffles for three generations, and Marche is a major region for the fancy fungi.

The Gargano Peninsula, with its steep forested hills and beautiful coastline, is irresistible for holiday makers who relish its gorgeous weather and its unhurried, unspoilt way of life. Arriving from the north, the first place to experience the area’s delights is the small town of Rodi Garganico. As you wind your way down the hillside on the number 89 road, passing numerous olive and carob trees, you get your first close look at the Adriatic’s clear, turquoise waters and beautiful beaches of white sand and the harbourside where boats leave for the nearby Tremeti Islands, with several good restaurants specialising in seafood. Slechtste olijvenoogst in Italië sinds 1956 | Il Giornale, dé gratis krant en website over Italië | Nostra Passione | Scoop.it

Stuffed olives are however more recent, dating to the 17th century.

Nederland is voor even Italiaans grondgebied.

What To Do In Le Marche in every season | Nostra Passione | Scoop.it

WINE - The wines of Le Marche are increasingly popular and their quality has reached outstanding levels. Currently there are 15 DOC and 6 DOCG wines in the region, some from grapes that are only grown in very small areas.
TRUFFLES AND FORAGING - Eating foraged foods is very popular in Le Marche countryside and it’s not strange seeing whole families in the fields with bags and baskets collecting seasonal wild herbs, berries, mashrooms and edible flowers. The king of wild foods is the truffle, which grows all year round in the area around Acqualagna.

Some good wineries offer wine tastings
