Turner Road will be gaining a new bridge and, just maybe, a newly constructed tunnel under the existing road, too, for cattle. A tunnel is one of the possible solutions provided by the Davidson County Voluntary Agricultural District Advisory Board to prevent BN Acres, a cattle farm, from suffering financial consequences due to lack of access to pastures on each side of Turner Road.

Members of the North Carolina General Assembly will compete in a milk-chugging contest to raise awareness of the state’s dairy industry.
