This political article about Uganda discusses the law of anti-homosexuality. In Africa bills are being passed that put into place severe laws if caught "aggravating homosexuality." These laws are often put into place by corrupt politicians, who want support-- and in Africa 96% of people say homosexuality should not be accepted by society.

Justice Minister Kahinda Otafiire has challenged African countries to take a role in that intellectual party and seize it to spur economic growth. He spoke in a meeting saying that many African countries have not reached the full potential that intellectual property has to offer and have not gained from it at all.

There is a variety of religions in South America, but most of them are based upon Christianity.  Roman Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, and Pentecostal are some of the main religions.  The Indigenous beliefs and practices have been involved with Christianity for many years, and it adds a diversity of different religion and culture to South America.  

Essential Question:  Despite the religious differences, do you think that there is conflict between the people with different opinions on different religions?  Why or why not?

Over the years there have been many trends and cultural changes but the people that have stayed is our ancestors. they have influenced our daily life. they have created the many different religions that are scattered throughout South America. These religions are mainly sculpted around christianity. Religions here are changed and effected by the veiwpoints of the world. Influence has been a huge part of the this catagory.. the essential question is: why do some religions stay while other go through phases of popularity?
