Via Stefano Principato
Bonnie McEwan's insight:

Some of these are a bit off-beat, which is why they will stand out amid the clutter and perhaps generate some clicks to your nonprofit web site. Adapt these to fit the main areas of work that your organization does.

Example: I once learned how to assist a blind person on the street by watching a short video on YouTube. The video happened to have been created by a blind person who was tired of people making assumptions about him and his abilities, but it could as easily be made by a nonprofit that serves people with vision difficulties.

Livestrong Foundation: Do Disgruntled Donors Deserve a Refund?
Bonnie McEwan's insight:

This is tricky question, requiring a balance between the interests of donors in controling how their gifts are used against the interests of an organization that has received and used the gifts in good faith. In the absence of evidence to the contrary, it appears that the foundation -- not necessarily Lance Armstrong himself -- has operated in good faith.

Thus, I would say that donors should not get refunds in this instance. Regardless of what Lance Armstrong has done personally, the foundation did accomplish some important goals, such as greatly heightening the awareness and involvement of younger donors about cancer.
