Many individuals seek personal excellence, but few achieve it. Why? Those who maintain personal excellence hold these 10 core beliefs, and you can too.

I enjoyed this article.  I agree that these are important behaviors or attitudes to integrate into your lifestyle and more importantly your psychology.  One important note I would add is to be sure to learn these attitudes from a perspective of success; what I mean is this - belief is one of the most powerful tools you have at your discretion.  When you choose to add something new to your life or to change/remove something from your current situation, always make sure you first understand 'Why' you are making the change.  This is the value.  If something is very important to you, it becomes more valuable and therefore more likely to realized.  If something is not that important or vital to you then it is less valuable and less likely to become a part of who you are....!  Once you have determined that the change you want to make is a priority (a top value; ie: providing for my family and myself) then you have to check on your beliefs.  No matter how important something or someone is to you, if you don't believe you can have it, you won't!


Always work, play & live from a place of empowerment.  A place where you believe in yourself, you give yourself the benefit of the doubt to make mistakes and to always learn and grow from them, to laugh and take risks and most of all to create and believe that you are and have the life you deserve now!

When it comes to losing weight or getting in shape most of us cringe in agony.  For me, if I don't go to the gym and work out I am a different person; disfocused, tired & less patient. 

 

Does that ever happen to you?

 

I have coached A LOT of people on my strategies for staying fit.  It truly starts with your mind.  Not your time or your body, it's what you are saying to yourself or thinking that is defeating you before you get the ball rolling. 

 

So the first thing you have to do is figure out 'Why' it's important for you to get in shape.  And further you have to recognize whether there is anything else that is important but conflicts with this goal and can stop you!  For example:  you want to get in shape really bad but you also want to hit your bonus at work.  Which one do you think is going to throw a wrench in the works for the other goal?  Yep!   Most likely you will be burning the midnight oil and still have that extra 5 lbs at the start of next month~ 


So how do you ever get yourself to get in a rhythym of working out and having the body you dream of????

 

You have to do some personal discovery.  You have to look at your lifestyle and habits and be willing to make changes that are healthy for you. 

There's a BIG difference between someone who 'wants to change' and someone who 'wants to want to change'
