Being an educator is quite demanding in terms of planning a class. Even though there are many helpful resources that we can use to teach and take advantage of them. Due to the great changes produced by the technology and the opportunities it offers, such as interactive classrooms, instant information, and permanent updates, It’s quite important that the entire school system improves and becomes a part of the age of technology. so it’s better that we introduce changes one by one If we want that our students to listen, and not only hear what we’re saying, but ask questions and engage in discussions, it’s quite important for as to find a way to intrigue them and spark their curiosity. We should definitely try to use their desire to know everything – when a student is curious about our subject, they will pay attention, and that additional interest they show will help them store all the facts that they have heard in their long-term memory later on. Visualization Is a Powerful Learning Tool taught to students in order to help them develop their memory. In fact, some children develop their own unique set of memory tools. However, whether they’re writing things down, studying out loud or drawing sketches, all of them respond to visual teaching aids incredibly well. Various colors, different fonts, and creative shapes can all be used together to help students to learn more efficiently, but they can also help educators keep their students focused on the topic at hand, without the need for wasting any extra energy on warnings and reestablishing order in the classroom. Use of visuals like infographics can be quite beneficial to both student and teacher. They allow as to create our lessons around a central image, something that the entire class can be focused on as we speak, so we don’t have to check our notes every couple of minutes to make sure we didn’t forget something.

I agree with the fact that technology has created learners’ autonomy since it has different useful information for them. By the way, teachers need to be able to encourage students to search information in the best way. When students realize that technology is successful and helpful for them and start to understand the really meaning of technology, they become more autonomy and committed with their learning process. Technology is playing an important role in our education nowadays since it brings us a lot of information that we can receive and play with in the best way to improve our learning. One of the best methods that we can use for our knowledge is the technology.

12 Tips for training older teachers to use technology

12 Tips for training older teachers to use technology | Nik Peachey | Scoop.it
There is an assumption that persists in the educational community that more mature teachers are much more difficult and reluctant to be trained on the effective use of educational technology. To some degree, I think this assumption has been built on by the digital native vs digital immigrant myth. But as someone who has trained teachers of all ages all over the world I would say that, from my own experience, this hasn’t been the case.
