Meena Jasim's curator insight, May 6, 2014 8:11 AM

This article discusses the issue of unemployed binge drinkers. I think this article is more of a reminder to everyone of how easily it is to fall into the trap of excessive use of alcohol. Unemployment is just an example of one of the things that can make you binge drink. Another examples are teenagers binge drinking. Teenagers go through a time in their life when there are a lot of pressures such as school work, relationship issues etc but what they dont realise that binge drinking will not help the situation they are in at all. What makes it worst is that teenagers think that it is cool to drink which makes them think it is ok for them to drink.

In class we discussed these issues, and discussed that alcohol won't help you escape from you problems but they will actually make them worst and the various of reasons why people start binge drinking in the first place.
