Interactive resources to develop thinking and AfL

A series of developing thinking exercises investigating the Fibonacci sequence in nature.The resource pack includes interactive elements and printable activities to encourage collaboration and group discussion.

Take a look at the 'Let's reflect' resources - Nice AfL Templates. These are available in the Good Practice section of the site for use in any lesson.

There are many opportunities within ESDGC to develop thinking skills. This resource contains backgrounds on a number of teaching and learning ideas with accompanying files for use in the classroom.

This is an example of one of the five units created to develop oracy in the English lesson. Each unit focuses on a controversial 21st Century issue, so could be used in the PSE lesson also. There are some great DTAfL activities built in.

Look at Global Patterns - this is an excellent example of how technology can effectively enhance the learning process - rather than students being presented with a completed graph that they then have to deconstuct and interpret - here they build up the graph and their knowledge collectively.

An interactive time line that allows pupils and teachers to input their own information. The Timeline Editor is used to create a new timeline containing text and images which can then be saved and viewed in the Timeline Tool.
