Obama 3rd Term HJ Res 15, the Socialists of America & the Financial Scammer

Obama 3rd Term HJ Res 15, the Socialists of America & the Financial Scammer | MN News Hound | Scoop.it

House Representative Jose Serrano introduced HJ Res 15 last week which is a proposal to repeal the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution. Serrano has beentrying to get such legislation passed since the 1990s. Serrano is bringing the proposal back; however it appears he no more wants Obama to extend his presidency than he wanted all the presidents before Obama to have a longer term.

Eric Olson's curator insight, April 10, 7:58 PM

I think that this is crap two year terms have been around forever so why try and change it now keep it how it is and try new people as they come along. Like they say if its working perfectly dont try and change it.

Tanner Schatzel's comment, April 14, 8:44 AM
I think that two years is long enough for a president. They can get done what they want to get done in that amount of time. It also makes sure that our government is run by a "king" I also think that Senators and House members should be the same way, they should be limited to two terms.

WASHINGTON, Dec 16, 2011 (IPS) - Defence Secretary Leon Panetta's suggestion that the end of the U.S. troop presence in Iraq is part of a U.S. military success story ignores the fact that the George W. US “Withdrawal” In Iraq Paves Way for US-Israeli Strike on Iran

US “Withdrawal” In Iraq Paves Way for US-Israeli Strike on Iran | MN News Hound | Scoop.it

Nearly every option described within the Fortune 500-funded Brookings Institution 2009 “Which Path to Persia?” report in regards to US-initiated regime change in Iran has been carried out to the letter. From proposals to fund and arm terrorist organizations like the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), to fomenting foreign-backed “color revolutions” in the streets of Tehran, to carrying out covert US-Israeli military operations within Iran itself, it is clear that the Brookings Institution either was writing the playbook on conquering Iran or was reading from it when compiling “Which Path to Persia?” The only remaining options left are airstrikes and invasion.

U.S. to leave Iraqi airspace clear for strategic Israeli route to Iran

U.S. to leave Iraqi airspace clear for strategic Israeli route to Iran | MN News Hound | Scoop.it

The U.S. military’s fast-approaching Dec. 31 exit from Iraq, which has no way to defend its airspace, puts Israel in a better place strategically to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Iraq has yet to assemble a force of jet fighters, and since the shortest route for Israeli strike fighters to Iran is through Iraqi airspace, observers conclude that the U.S. exit makes the Jewish state’s mission planning a lot easier.
