There are no technology shortcuts to good education. For primary and secondary schools that are underperforming or limited in resources, efforts to improve education should focus almost exclusively on better teachers and stronger administrations. Information technology, if used at all, should be targeted for certain, specific uses or limited to well-funded schools whose fundamentals are not in question.
ALICE.org uses 3DS Max as well... yay... I have the dartboard in 3DS max already.. I can import it and then use it in the 3D World to program what the dartboard will do. The input would just need to be adjusted to the wiiMote instead of a mouse or keyboard.
Blooms Taxonomy has been the subject of one of my first articles in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning. It turned out to be the second most popular post in this blog after The 21st Century Skills Teachers should Have. The principles of Blooms taxonomy have been into play in the field of education since the 50s of last century. The classfication of learning objectives within education proposed in 1956 by a committee of educators chaired by Benjamin Bloom , though received little attention when first published, Blooms taxonomy has since been translated into 22 languages and is one of the most widely applied and most often citered reference. There is even a 21st century version of this taxonomy that you can read about here.
