Here is a great example of successful entrepreneurs and lesson their learned:


“Most people think of workout equipment as boring and monotonous,” Huang said. “You’re basically staring at a wall for 30 to 60 minutes. So we really wanted to change that experience and make it more fun using our expertise in making great games.”

It's all about improving the #CustExp.


This is a clever concept that enables you to easily incorporate their controllers with any standard gym or home equipment, plus your iPad or iPhone. I'm confident Android will follow soon.

Whether it is wii or fitness guitar or dance dance revolution, these new and improved video games are a great way to burn calories and stay fit without going to the gym or thinking about it as a "workout."

'I think the gaming industry will start to look a little bit more like the television industry,' says games publisher's CEO Kevin Chou

Kevin Chou notes that the mobile/social games industry is still figuring out what works, what doesn't work, and what annoys players when it comes to free-to-play games – and specifically the challenge of creating something that up to 98% of players won't pay for, and in games where they compete against one another, getting the balance right between progression through paying versus playing.


All industries are focused on the right #customer #experience to drive results.

On November 7th Plain Vanilla launched a Trivia App called QuizUp. The app was released a little over three weeks ago, already it has attracted 3 million registered users and has enjoyed the #1 spot in the Apple App Store.

@Vanillagames took a more social approach to their new @QuizUp game, and the results are clear: #1 in the Apple App store!

 

Players can add their own questions, build communities, and engage further. This is the reason their users average 40 minutes per day on the App.

 

Imagine the results once they launch on @Android in 2014!
