Social Media Today shares information on the e tools and methods that are at your disposal, to protect you from online information predators, while still enjoying the internet. 

By maintaining awareness on how much of your personal information is available through the internet with a quick Google search, you are able to monitor your reputation and be proactive in circumstances when information may need to be removed. Limiting what you share in the beginning helps, and also using Google alerts may aid in the protection of your online identit. 

 

This is a good article for those newer to online sharing, as it lists the simple privacy steps to consider while maintaining an online profile, without overwhelming readers.
