Dear Mr./Mrs.,

I am writing you with respect to available data on the crowd funding volume in several countries. I hope that your crowd funding association may help me with available data on the crowd funding volume of countries during the period of 2009 to 2013. In the next paragraph, I will first introduce myself and explain wherefore I will use these data.

My name is Aldo van Schaick and currently I am studying MSc Organisation Economics at the University of Amsterdam. I would like to write my thesis about the phenomenon Crowdfunding and therefore I send you this message. I hope that you can help me with data on the total crowd funding industry volume in countries during 2009 to 2013. In specific, do you have data on the total crowd funding volume in the following countries:

Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, United States, South Africa, Canada, Argentina, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, India, France and China

If you cannot provide the data but have an idea for me where to find the data, it would be great as well. I would be very grateful. This would be a great first step for me and I would be very happy to deliver you my results and insights when my thesis is final!

Thanks in advance for your response.

Kind regards,

Aldo van Schaick
