50 Things You Can Do With Google Classroom: Alice Keeler, Libbi Miller

50 Things You Can Do With Google Classroom [Alice Keeler, Libbi Miller] on Amazon.com.

Ken Morrison's insight:
Easy to learn and Easy to apply

If you created a Google Classroom but don't use it, I strongly suggest this very easy read with quality tips to help you get excited about using Google Classroom.  I would suggest reading five per day and applying one or two. Then read another five a few days later.  My best advice for those thinking of using Google Classroom is to simply commit to using it for one unit first, with no guilt of not using it on a daily basis after that.

[CES 2016] Keynote by Dr.WP Hong

Dr. Hong, the President of Samsung SDS and the Head of its solution business, described Samsung’s devices and components, platforms and security solution
Ken Morrison's insight:
Samsung's Keynotes are getting less cheesy and their products are improving, but their announcements still feel awkward. I really like some of the things that they are doing, but I can't picture it happening without another layer of advertising around every corner of the new horizon. For example, it is becoming trite to use the example of being at the store and having your refrigerator tell you what you need to buy.  It sounds nice, but the inevitable relentless advertising that will accompany this 'service' will turn me off quickly.

You will never find me arguing against pushes forward in the area of personalizing feedback regarding health. I am glad that they are proceeding in this area!

How better tech could protect us from distraction

How better tech could protect us from distraction | An Eye on New Media | Scoop.it
