My Students' Video - Via Our Facebook Page

My Students' Video - Via Our Facebook Page | An Eye on New Media | Scoop.it

But Does this all work?

Here is a video created  by my students who practice what I preach (almost) every day. They created this video and  Facebook page to answer a real-life recruitment & retainment challenge.

My students at Hannam University's Linton Global College use media and video to improve their writing skills, teamwork skills, critical thinking skills, international advertising skills, and project management skills.  They also have fun learning while working hard.

Communication is much more than just language skills. It is about designing a message for a target audience and 'call to action' in mind.

Special thanks to Cati, Kyla, Min, & Lelah for their extra work on this project!  Additional (Equal) thanks to the LGC Social Media team of Sang, Jody, Kim, Denis, Kate & Veronica!

Our college can be found at:  http://lgc.hnu.kr/

Twitter Founder Comes Home to Nebraska | An Eye on New Media | Scoop.it
My play-by-play of the Nebraska native and Blogger, Twitter and Medium leader:

Evan Williams thinks the name "Big Omaha" is a little redundant.

That's because Omaha is synonymous with big, from his childhood point of view, he said.

Clarks, his hometown was only 379 when he lived there in the 70s and 80s. Clarks is 100 miles west of Omaha and "one of the towns every ten miles on Highway 30."

Suppose that an autonomous car is faced with a terrible decision to crash into one of two objects. It could swerve to the left and hit a Volvo sport utility vehicle (SUV), or it could swerve to the right and hit a Mini Cooper. If you were programming the car to minimize harm to others--a sensible goal--which way would you instruct it go in this scenario?
