Today, the largest university system in the world, the California State University system, announced a pilot for $150 lower-division online courses at one its campuses--a move that spells the end of higher education as we know it.
The author did a great job of explaining the systematic steps that will change due to this big decision. This is a valuable read.

In grad school (2007) I learned about former music producer, Brian Hardin. He was a busy guy who made a promise to himself to read the bible out loud every day for a year. He did it every day that year, and is now entering his 7th year. He is on top of both the tech side and the community building. He has coordinated similar communities in different languages and for different age groups.
