It is nice that Google learns from you but it is also dangerous.  Google and other search engiines and social networks decide what information is provided for you.  Pariser gives the example of two people searching for Egypt.  They took screen shots. One person's top results did not even indicate that there was an uprising.

I explored a bit today.  I see some promise.  I also was already impressed with their work (but didn't know it was them) through TNW and The Guardian web sites.

New Dutch cloud service Silk, which is launching today, wants to fulfill the promise of the Semantic Web and make your documents, web pages and files more powerful -- and with a few fixes, it could get there.
