This article outlines the pros of illegal music downloading and free streaming services. While it is acknowledged that traditional physical record sales may suffer, the upside to all of the music sharing, illegal or not, can boost revenue in other areas. It is a very hard question to answer, and we can only wait to see what in store for big record companies down the road if this information holds true.

With that being said, music streaming is not all bad, if you streaming networks, label, and artist can find a leeway to the problems every one should be satisified and making money together.
