Proposals are invited for roundtable discussions, workshops, papers/posters, applied and artistic contributions, relating, but not limited to the conference’s main focus. The organizers intend to publish selected papers. The conference’s official language will be English.
eContact! extends an open call for contributions to an issue focussing on the use of the body in electroacoustic performance practice, coordinated by Guest Editor Marco Donnarumma. Performers, composers and others are encouraged to contribute their perspectives on the role or position of the body in experimental practices of musical performance.
In these regulations are included the terms and conditions that govern the participation in the exhibitions of FILE to be produced by FILE Electronic Language International Festival (from now on denominated "Organizer").

Since it is that time of the year when most people are going to be celebrating/holidaying/having-a-good-time in some form or the other, I thought it would a good idea if we could create a sonic-mash of these sounds by getting everyone to contribute.
The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is calling for entries for the 6th competition to find the best poetry films! Entries should be short films based on poems. Prizes in the competition will be awarded to a total value of € 10,000. From all films submitted, a Programme Commission will nominate the films for the competition and select the programme contributions. The winners will be selected by an international jury.
Closing date for entries for all competitions is 2 May 2012.

An international competition for the digital arts is again being run to mark the 7th year of the digital arts festival Bains numériques. Works (not previously seen in the Ile-de-France region) will now compete in three separate fields: visual arts, choreographic arts and sound arts.

Oriel Davies is seeking submissions from artists working in any medium. This includes: performance, time-based, sound, digital, installation, painting, sculpture, print, photography and moving image. The exhibition will be shown at Oriel Davies Gallery from 28 April - 27 June 2012. There is no geographical restriction and entry is open both to professional artists and to students (17+) currently training in visual art.
