MindMup

MindMup | Neuromarketing | Scoop.it

Another way MindMup is now allowing you to work with larger groups easier is a quick notification mechanism when someone changes a node. You'll get a small speech bubble pop up for several seconds and disappear automatically, so it's easy to keep an eye on the entire team or classroom. At the moment, this only works for node text changes, but in the future we'll add other notification types.

A New Great Digital Citizenship Poster for Your Class ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning

A New Great Digital Citizenship Poster for Your Class ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning | Neuromarketing | Scoop.it

"Raising a digitally savvy and responsible student does require  explicit modelling  and instruction on how to deal with the vagaries of Internet. In an age where everything you do online leaves  indelible marks (digital footprints)  that can be accessed and viewed by anyone , knowing how and what to share and with whom to share it become digital imperatives that every student should be aware of. This kind of knowledge is at the core of the digital citizenship concept."

The "Attention Method" for Effective PowerPoint Presentations

The "Attention Method" for Effective PowerPoint Presentations | Neuromarketing | Scoop.it
This is a method of constructing effective PowerPoint presentations in a way that helps your audience pay attention to you and understand your ideas more fully. With Attention Method, the slides are designed to add power, emphasis, and deeper understanding to your well-scripted speech. You flip slides often so that, at any given time, your slides always support only what you're saying and contain no distracting information. Instead of one slide with several bullets, each slide should contain one idea expressed in vibrant images and minimalistic text.

Computer-assisted treatments help patients conquer their phobias

Computer-assisted treatments help patients conquer their phobias | Neuromarketing | Scoop.it

Dr. Jesse Wright, a psychiatrist with University of Louisville Physicians, has authored papers on the efficacy of computer-assisted therapy and offers the virtual reality therapy in his U of L office.

According to Wright, patients with a debilitating fear of flying need to confront that fear directly — not by relying on “avoidance behaviors” like pre-flight medication or alcohol.

“To really overcome it, you have to look the fear in the eye and say OK, this is nothing, really, that I need to be afraid of,” Wright said.

But therapists can’t go along with patients to help them get through it. That’s where the virtual reality therapy comes in.

Startups Can Jump The Class
If you are new to content marketing understanding how content marketing's four gears create a "virtual cycle" can help you jump the class. Content marketing's gears:

* Curation.
* Creation.
* Social.

* Ecommerce.

Clean Slate content marketers, thos so new to the game they have few preconceived ideas, can move to the head of the class by organizing their marketing differently and in alignment with ideas shared in Content Marketing's Gears.

"Curation is LISTENING. Curation is listening with intent. When, like Robin Good, you curate an important pool of information such as "cool new social media and Internet marketing tools" followers can spend LESS time worrying about finding new cool tools themselves. We learn where to go WHEN we need certain kinds of information."

 -- But curation is also a Great WORK, which allows us to understand the economics of information on the web. :-)

Humanisme et transhumanisme

Humanisme et transhumanisme | Neuromarketing | Scoop.it
