I now live near Booyong in northern NSW, Australia. I explore the Australian bush (when I can), climb volcanoes (also when I can) and generally photograph anything and everything that interests me. My photographs have appeared in many textbooks and reference works plus numerous other things from Japanese fungi exhibitions to Wind Surfing books, from jewelery designs to knitting magazines (not sure if I should admit to that one). My photography is mainly of the natural world but also includes travel and people photography in places like Indonesia or other parts of Asia and the world in general. I have presented on macro photography at the Australian Photographic Society. p.s. all photos are for sale even if they are not listed as such, or aren't high enough resolution here. Please contact me if you the like permision to use a photo, or you would like me to check if I have other photos that may suit your requirements. You can contact me at the email address at the top of this page. Steve Axford - 2011
