5 Reasons to Use Social Media for Selling #socialmediaselling

5 Reasons to Use Social Media for Selling #socialmediaselling | Network Marketing MLM Guru | Scoop.it

Surprisingly I see much written about social media marketing: spreading brand awareness, reaching target groups, pushing out promotions, even efficient customer service. But one thing that is seldom discussed is the use of social media by sales professionals.

And why not? After all, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ are just communications channels. They serve the same purpose as the telephone, networking conferences or even the front door of a prospective customer. Despite all the high-tech hype, social media is just another way for a sales person to contact and then interact with potential buyers. Here are five reasons why you should consider incorporating social media into your sales process:

It beats cold calling. Cold calling is the traditional technique for hungry, driven sales people. But the effectiveness of this brute force technique is drastically declining. A recent study by Baylor University’s Center for Research found that for every for every 330 cold calls, only one appointment resulted. Social media allows for a gradual, more comfortable warming than a jarring cold call. Rather than knocking on a prospect’s door as a stranger, you can pass in the street, say hello, engage in conversation and gradually win the comfort and trust of the prospect. You will have an edge over your competitors. According to a recent Harvard Business School survey, only 12% of companies are including the sales team in social media planning. That means that you can have a distinct edge over competing company sales reps as you listen and respond to questions and requests over social media channels. You get to be a fly on the wall. Everyone is using social media: your customers, your prospects, even your competitors. And they are constantly talking, about what they like, and what is a huge hassle. All that chatter is real information… and much more efficient than eavesdropping on a few conversations at a networking event. You have a better chance of being at the right place at the right time. With social media you get to be right where your prospects are, listening to what matters most to them. When a prospect complains via social media, they are far more likely to engage with a salesperson who responds to that frustration rather than a cold call product pitch. You can influence early (rather than defend later) in the buying process. Today, buyers spend far more time researching and moving through the buying process before they engage vendors. Much of the buyer’s journey leverages social media. Social selling allows sales people to engage buyers much earlier in their journey. You get to help shape the solution to the problem rather than being forced to respond as just another “vendor” later in the sales process – where you are evaluated largely on price.

The Relativity Of Everything
Social media is the most relative of media. The more territory social media captures the more relative things become. Relative in the sense that it is impossible to really KNOW anything.

There are simply too many variables now. Patterns that seem so convincing may be worth a double down, but those patterns may have so many interconnections you are betting on a horse you may never see or fully understand.

This is NOT to say we can't trust or use our metrics as maps to help create greatness. It is to say that our zero sum habits, this OR that, need to be replaced with AND.

This AND That are impacting our metrics and Internet marketing. Great infographic that speaks to the value of a single social signal.

SEO is changing, and for the most part, the life of an SEO consultant is getting better. Gone are the days of open keyword data and mass link buying, but we’ve been lucky to gain a few things too. Most notably, we’ve gained the ability to justify the cost of good SEO and shown that a good SEO consultant is worth the additional expense in easy to understand terms and ideas such as ROI and lifetime value.

How To Get A #Flat #Stomach | TopArticlePublisherBlog.info

How To Get A #Flat #Stomach | TopArticlePublisherBlog.info | Network Marketing MLM Guru | Scoop.it

It is fairly easy to get a flat stomach once you know a bit about exercise and diet. It is not enough to simply diet or exercise – you need to do both to get the best results possible. For example, you can tone your abdominals through exercise but if you have a layer of excess fat on your stomach, you will not have a flat stomach until you lose the excess body fat.
The sad thing is that there are many fad diets and strange, ineffective exercises out there that promise you fantastic results. My experience is that anything worthwhile takes a little effort and dedication. Besides, there is no point in crash dieting, for example to return to bad habits and regain weight.
So how do you attain a flat stomach then? Unfortunately, I have not yet found any fad diets or shortcuts that really work. The fad diets, instant weight loss supplements, workout gadgets from infomercials often do not really combat the source of your problem and so do not offer long-lasting results. The only effective method for how to get a flat stomach is the combination of eating healthy and effective exercise.
When you are thinking about how to get sexy flat stomach, avoid drastic diet changes and fad diets. The right way to lose excess body fat is to cut several hundred calories from your daily intake. You want to keep your body well fed enough so that it does not go into “starvation mode” and slow its metabolism down. This often means eating smaller, more frequent meals during the day.
The next point is exercise to help you achieve a flat stomach. If you have difficulty staying motivated at the gym, do not limit yourself to simply doing crunches or sit ups. Include total body exercises into your workout which also work the abdominals. You do not need to do loads and loads of sit ups to get a flat stomach. You should include a variety of exercises including core movements, stability exercises and weights.
To get a flat stomach, a good start is to cut out junk foods from your diet and do some exercise. I advise that you find out about effective exercises and locate helpful tips to help you reduce your daily calorie intake so that you do not go hungry.

The 5 Types of Social Followers that Every Business Needs [INFOGRAPHIC]

The 5 Types of Social Followers that Every Business Needs [INFOGRAPHIC] | Network Marketing MLM Guru | Scoop.it

When you’re a brand establishing yourself on social platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, in the very early days you’re usually less concerned about who is following you and more about how many...

It’s superficial, of course, but large numbers of followers on Twitter and Likes on your Facebook Page do have provide a level of social proof that makes you more attractive to new followers, and new Likes – when someone sees that you’re already popular, they’re far more likely to make the leap and get on board themselves.

But for businesses looking to maximize the ROI of their social media strategy, how many is always far, far less important than who. Pretty soon you realise that a big number is meaningless unless it’s actually converting into brand awareness, website footfall and sales – so who should you be looking to attract?

Early adopters, social sharers and power-users are all pivotal in helping your brand reach critical max, but they’re not alone. Indeed, lurkers and even haters can become powerful influencers if you take the time to engage and inspire them.

This infographic takes a look at the five types of social follower that every business needs...
