The San Antonio Spurs Demolish the Heat! - ESPN First Take

First Take's Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless discuss whether the series is over between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs after the Spurs defeated the H...
Cesar Mejia's insight:

The Spurs reached their fifth NBA title by winning to Miami Heat in fifth game of the end, to close the key for 4-1, motivated by outstanding performances by Emanuel Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard and Patty Mills. The Argentine Ginobilli contributed with 19 points, with 22 point Leonard and finally with 17 points the Australian Mills. This is the fifth title for the Spurs, who were champions in 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007. The final was almost party for Spurs against an opponent who doesn’t found alternatives.

Cesar Mejia's insight:

The San Antonio Spurs defeat far and wide Miami Heat in the fifth game, and achieved to be crowned champions of NBA after getting four of seven victories. Tim Duncan, one of the best players in the Spurs and the history of the NBA, could beat the record of played minutes in the finals. Spurs showed a very compelling game and, extraordinarily, Leonard scored 33 points to defeat, with 107-86, a poor Miami which couldn’t react; except from Lebron James, who certainly showed that he is the best player in the world at this time.

Cesar Mejia's insight:

What a game! Thats what some call an "NBA special". You can see one of these every series. Ibaka's performance in the last 4 games have to be stand out. I agree with those fans who are upset about him being announced out for the playoffs. There where many bet making over that information. This shouldn't be permitted by the NBA.

Mike Born leaves Trail Blazers front office after 10 years with good memories ...
Cesar Mejia's insight:

Once again the Blazers let go talent. they have been missing talents and doing a terrible scouting during the past 10 years. Mike obviously prefer to talk about the good memories and show a good attitude referring to this because is looking forward to still be part of the NBA. Good look for him, he did a great job despite of the imposed decisions he had to accept from above.

VIDEO: Westbrook dunks on the Spurs and lets them know about it. By Matt Moore | NBA writer. May 27, 2014 11:01 PM ET. Russell Westbrook had many highlights in Game 4 vs.
Cesar Mejia's insight:

Westbrook is the vivid image and representation of everything that went wrong with the game. He didn't seem really interested or worried or with his mind really focussed in the games nor in the results after turning 6 for 19 in the loss or even after loosing an open dunk in the last match. What's wrong with  him?  This is not a normal behavior.

Cesar Mejia's insight:

I think its all about the coach!! he has made an amazing job and it feels like he has so much more of his coaching skills to give to the team not only for this year but since that 6th game of the finals in 2013.of course all his effort and effective coaching has made him the best coach of the year and he absolutely deserves it.

San Antonio Spurs Tribute - The Beautiful Game (ORIGINAL)

Part 2 http://youtu.be/tNZvNs6r800 Removed by the NBA after 1.5 Million views - My video tribute to the San Antonio Spurs organization. Edited by http://Coli...
Cesar Mejia's insight:

What a beautiful video, definitely for San Antonio Spurs basketball fans, represent a cute game. A game that after the great Michael Jordan generation, hadn’t been seen. Duncan, Parker, Leonard and Argentine Ginobilli are four magnificent players who shine in this team, which is already growing to win any game they play. Champions and record of points of this season, and definitely being the best team in the regular phase, this is San Antonio.

Pounding The Rock
But just because there's no chance of LeBron James signing with the Spurs doesn't mean we can't have fun laughing about the possibility.
Cesar Mejia's insight:

It’s normal that Lebron James is thinking about a change of air. Is the best player from today of NBA, and after the low level showed from Miami Heat in the finals of the playoffs against San Antonio Spurs, he realized that he can’t get with Miami what he is actually looking for. He needs a stronger team, that even though the circumstances their performance wouldn’t decrease. In this moment the best team should be San Antonio, which during this year stay as champion and show an immeasurably superior game than others. It wins all games, showing a much higher level, easily and widely defeating Miami, Lebron's team, in the final matches.

Will Dorell Wright make an impact for Trail Blazers in 2014-15?
Cesar Mejia's insight:

Dorell has not given the results he was expected to when he was brought. It is undeniable that he has done a decent job defending but that not what he was brought to do, he was brought to drain the trey. Among that he has had problems with consistency and  his shooting confidence seems to have fade  away. The team needs a knock down shooter.

Thomas Robinson is a great player. He is not only hard to be stoked about in the game but some even think he is the toughest player so far and that hell become much better when his more confident and comfortable in his position after settling completely. Talking about his personality and character, the comments are also good. So continue like that T ROb!!

Cesar Mejia's insight:

I don't think this will get to court at all. In first place because it would be a violation of the constitutional rights and  because this is not a matter of the court. Sterling is a part of the NBA, which is a private organization and the have certain rules that players and other employees have to follow, it they don't they'll decide to proceed the way they want according to their institutional rules. Pacers coach wants simple approach
ESPN
They've pretty much done everything right since.
Cesar Mejia's insight:

After Miami Heat´s gained leadership, by wining 3 consecutive games in the series, they’re about to end with the Peacers´season again (this would be the third year in a row). The Heats are just one winning match away from making a reality the elimination of Peacers, which is very sad not only because this would be the same story repeating for third time, but because the team had very strong expectations at the beginning of the season. Hopefully they would have a better luck on their fifth game and will get the opportunity to fight.
