Fantasy Basketball Rankings: Top 5 Players at Every Position Entering 2013-14 - Bleacher Report | NBA | Scoop.it
Tristian Duncan's insight:

Bleacher report just released a top 5 fantasy draft for each position. In the number one point guard spot is Chris Paul with the Los Angelas Clippers. With the new addition of J.J. Reddick and Jared Dudley Chris Paul is expected to average assists in the double digits. The top fantasy draft is the shooting guard with the Houston Rockets, James Harden. Harden currently averages 25.9 points per game and finished fourth last year in ESPN’s player rater. The OKC small forward Kevin Durant is number one pick in the small forward position as well as number one fantasy pick overall. If Kevin Durant averages the same amount of minutes as he has in the previous seasons he is projected to have 32 points, 8.6 rebounds and 6.9 assists. The number one power forward position goes to Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves. He averaged 26 points, 13.3 rebounds and 1.9 made threes a game. The number one center position goes to Marc Gasol from the Memphis Grizzlies. While he only averages 14.1 points per game and 7.8 rebounds he  averages 4 assists and 1.7 blocks and 1 steal per game.

Bulls' Derrick Rose to miss rest of NBA season - Los Angeles Times | NBA | Scoop.it
FanSided Bulls' Derrick Rose to miss rest of NBA season Los Angeles Times The 2010-11 NBA most valuable player missed all of last season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Chicago's 2012 playoff opener against...
Tristian Duncan's insight:

Derrick Rose the point guard for the Chicago Bulls will be missing the remainder of the 2012-2013 NBA season due to a torn medial meniscus.  The Bulls worst fears have returned, Derrick Rose suffered a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee last year in the first round of the playoffs against the Philadelphia 76’ers. In total the amount of games played by 2010-2011 MVP is 50 one of which was a playoffs game. Derrick Rose’s career has no doubt been hindered by injuries but hopefully we’ll see the same great comeback next year.

NBA Power Rankings: How All 30 Teams Stack Up, Training Camp Edition | NBA | Scoop.it
Forget the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics. Those two titans have been dominating the conversation about the NBA 's biggest rivalries for long enough. It's time for some new adversarial blood...
Tristian Duncan's insight:

Bleacher report just released a preseason power ranking list. The number one team on this list the Miami Heat are coming off a two straight NBA Finals high are expected to return to the playoffs this year. The second on the list was the bulls despite not having their star player Derrick Rose last season they still made it to the second round of the playoffs so with Derrick Rose returning this year they are expected to get to the final round this year. Spurs are the third team and the Spurs didn’t have to change their roster very much considering they made it to the finals this year and went to game seven. At the number four spot this year is the Indiana Pacers they are fresh healthy team this year with the return of Danny Granger and Roy Hibbert being healthier than last year you can expect to see them contending for the finals this year. At the number five spot is Oklahoma City Thunder this team’s only reason it’s not lower on the list is because of Russell  Westbrook’s  6-8 rehab for his Knee injury. This is the top five NBA teams ranked by Josh Martin NBA lead Writer
