Not those stupid kipping pull ups, the ones that look like a mentally handicapped seal clapping his hands, but the proper ones.  From a dead hang, pull your chest to the bar, hold for a split second, and then drop back down to a dead hang.

That’s a proper rep, and it’s more magnificent than the sun setting on a warm summers day or than the jubilant look on a teenagers face when they open their new pack of Pokemon trading cards and realise they’ve got a rare foil MewTwo card.

Exhausted from a long day of sitting at the office one may choose to sit on the sofa to watch television to unwind. If we look at it from an anatomical standpoint we realize the hamstring muscles and the illiopsoas muscles are shortened from the many hours of sitting and this causes strain on the lower back.

Man kann es gar nicht oft genug sagen: Wenn du Interesse an Fortschritten beim Bankdrücken und einer gesunden Schulter hast dann solltest du dich nicht nur um die Muskeln kümmern die du im Spiegel sehen kannst. 
Eine der Basis-Übungen sind Face Pulls. Face Pulls haben (mindestens) 2 Vorzüge gegenüber vielen anderen Schulterübungen. Zum einen erlauben sie einen möglichst großen Bewegungsradius, zum anderen kommt es beim Bewegungsablauf nicht zu Engpässen im Schultergelenk woraus oft erst recht Probleme wie z.B. ein Impingementsyndrom entstehen können. Face Pulls trainieren alle wichtigen Muskeln des oberen Rückens sowie der Rotatorenmanschette.

While it definitely is true that protein is an extremely important nutrient to have in the diet, it's not true that you necessarily need copious amounts of it to make progress. There are plenty of ways for vegetarians to build the muscle they are after despite the fact that they aren't consuming any meat products.

Let’s talk about back exercises. If you’re a serious weight lifter, you know that having a strong back is absolutely crucial to properly executing just about any lift.

Traditional pull-ups are great for vertical pulls, and rows are great for horizontal movement, but for an optimal upper-body workout, why wouldn’t you want to combine both angles into one exercise? Enter the arched back pull-up. If you’re not familiar with the arched back pull-up, it looks something like this:

To do an arched back pull-up, find a neutral grip seated row handle, and tuck it over your pull-up bar so that its handles are parallel to the bar. Grab on, and do your usual pull-up using the row handle, which will automatically tilt your body backwards and engage your latissimus dorsi (more colloquially known as your lats), as well as countless stabilizing core muscles. On each rep, your chest should touch the handle. This exercise will call more muscle groups to action than pretty much any other lift you can find.

Good article on the possible causes of low-T and good suggestions on how to address it.  If you need another reason to stop using plastic bottles, here it is:

The million dollar question is why are so many young men having inadequate hormone levels and what can a person do to prevent this problem? There are many theories on what causes this problem and one of them is someone getting too much exposer to something known as BPA or bisphenol A.


This BPA stuff is inside plastic that is used in water bottles; it's used on the outside of cans and leftover containers.

In a study done in China they tested two groups of men.


One group was constantly exposed to BPA for six months and the other group was not. The end result was that the group that was exposed to this chemical had lower testosterone levels, a lower sperm count and more love making problems.


To protect yourself do not heat anything in plastic, this includes the microwave. Reduce the amount of canned food you consume, don't drink out of plastic bottles and use glass containers to store food.

Wieso sind da heile-Welt-Bilder draufgedruckt, die ein so dämlich-naives Weltbild voraussetzen, dass vermutlich die allermeisten Konsumenten genau wissen, was ein peinlicher Unsinn das ist? Wieso gibt es immer mehr Fleisch-Produkte, denen man ihre Herkunft gar nicht mehr ansieht? Wieso isst kaum jemand mehr Innereien, Gehirn, Zunge und Schweinefüße? Vielleicht will da am Ende jemand gar kein Tier essen sondern einen möglichst anonymen Protein-Lappen?"
