This talks about the slavery that happen in America. It talks about how the indians were involved. It talks about some of the civil war, and tha some indians sided with the Union.  This is important because it talks how some inidians sided with the Union, so if the indians didn't sided probably United States wouldn't existed. They helped win the war. The indians were a great part of our history.

5 tribes don't want Killdeer battle field to be place by oil drilling because it is memorial of the indians who were killed by the US army in 1864. Which there is a that is going to happen or might happen. The project is going to cost 300m. The company owned 75% of the land. So there is a lot of thinking with this project. Why this is important because it base one it's culture, and what is important for the indians. And the history that has happen there.
