THE TRUTH HURTS: 'Muslims All Vote Labour And Are All On Benefits'

THE TRUTH HURTS: 'Muslims All Vote Labour And Are All On Benefits' | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
A former Conservative peer has waded into the row surrounding the controversial new Tory campaign chief, Lynton Crosby, by saying she agrees the party should not court Muslim votes because they are "all on benefits".

Last week, the Mail on Sunday quoted a source suggesting the Australian strategist had told Boris Johnson, during the mayoral election campaign, to concentrate on traditional Tory voters instead of "fucking Muslims".

Ian Birrell, a former speechwriter for Cameron, called Crosby a "disastrous signing" for the Tories in an article for the Independent.

But this week, the MoS quoted Shreela Flather, a cross-bench peer who quit the Tories in 2008, as saying: ‘I don’t condone swearing, but Lynton is right to say it is pointless for the Conservatives to chase Muslim votes. They are all on benefits and all vote Labour.’

The Labour party launched a stinging attack on the baroness, who has made several past controversial statements on large Muslim families and benefit claims.

Michael Dugher MP, Labour Party Vice Chair, said in response: "These shocking comments are totally unacceptable, there can be no place in politics for this kind of language or for such grossly offensive and ignorant attitudes.

"Baroness Flather should immediately apologise."

Baroness Flather, who was Britain’s first female Asian peer said in September 2011 that Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities were failing to adopt the values of British society and said they should have their benefits slashed.

In a speech the House of Lords during the second reading of the Welfare Reform Bill, she said: "The minority communities in this country, particularly the Pakistanis and the Bangladeshis, have a very large number of children and the attraction is the large number of benefits that follow the child.

"Nobody likes to accept that, nobody likes to talk about it because it is supposed to be very politically incorrect."

Sick British Muslims join campaign against shot teenager Malala

Sick British Muslims join campaign against shot teenager Malala | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

BRITISH-based Muslim extremists want the schoolgirl shot by the Taliban to face a possible death sentence.

The radicals will head to the Pakistani capital of Islamabad to link up with hardliners for a demonstration urging a fatwa against Malala Yousafzai.

The 15-year-old campaigner was shot in the head after she called for girls to have the right to attend school.

UK-based Islamist Anjem Choudary has led the anger aimed at Malala who is recovering at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

Zealots claim she is an apostate, or traitor, to Islam because she wrote an online diary for BBC Urdu slamming the Taliban for denying girls the right to education.

The conference billed as “Sharia4Pakistan” is due to be held at Lal Masjid (mosque) in Islamabad on November 30 and will feature a video address from al-Muhajiroun founder Omar Bakri Mohammed, titled “Declaration of Fatwa on Malala Yousafzai”.

The punishment for apostasy, or regressing from Islam, can under certain reading of Islamic law mean a death sentence.

East London-based Choudary told us: “There is no covenant of security in Pakistan for non-Muslims. If someone apostasises (renounces) Islam they become like the non-Muslims.

“They no longer have any form of protection. What we say very clearly is any non-Muslims in Muslim countries need to leave because they are at risk.

“And those people who are apostates (like Malala) and want to stand with the enemy against Muslims, they are naturally the first people that are going to be targeted.

“If someone apostatises like this woman did by allying with the Americans and saying her favourite person is (Barack) Obama and that she does not want the Sharia or hijab and wants to live under a secular state, she has put herself in a very precarious situation.

“It is no surprise what happened to her in Pakistan.

“Malala is mature Islamically, she is not immature, she has reached that period we say is adulthood.”

Meanwhile Omar Bakri Mohammed, 54, formerly based in the UK and now hiding in Lebanon, told the Daily Star Sunday: “The only solution is the implementation of the Sharia. She (Malala) should face justice in an Islamic court.

“We are going to renew the Fatwa against the man-made law and systems in Pakistan – this is why women like this young girl are rejecting Islam. The system is not being implemented properly.”

But last night one leading moderate Muslim figure described the plan as “ludicrous” and a “stunt”.

Dr Taj Hargey, imam of the Oxford Islamic Congregation and director of the Muslim Education Centre of Oxford, said: “The fatwa is just a religious opinion it does not carry any legal weight – certainly not in this country. This is a totally ludicrous religious opinion by a bunch of ultra-radical religious extremists.

“All Malala did was fight and struggle for the right to be educated and in Islam the right to be educated is a universal right for everyone, male and female, boys and girls.

“This is just another stunt by the self-styled religious cleric Anjem Choudary.

“He should be focusing on what Muslims can do to become better integrated rather than being a rabble-rouser and a troublemaker.

“Thinking Muslims should all contribute to a one-way ticket for these people to leave this country, leave the British passport at Heathrow and go on to Wahabi land or Sharia land and stay there forever.

“This brave girl is not a heretic or apostate. For her to be deemed outside the faith because she wants to be educated is totally beyond the pale.”

British Red Cross bans Christmas so as not to ‘offend’ Muslims

British Red Cross bans Christmas so as not to ‘offend’ Muslims | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

Christmas has been banned by the Red Cross from its 430 fund- raising shops. Staff have been ordered to take down decorations and to remove any other signs of the Christian festival because they could be offensive to Muslims.
(Yes, in fact, Christmas does offend many Muslims but it offends even more people communists on the Left)

UK DAILY MAIL The charity’s politically-correct move triggered an avalanche of criticism and mockery last night – from Christians. Christine Banks, a volunteer at a Red Cross shop in New Romney, Kent, said: ‘We put up a nativity scene in the window and were told to take it out. It seems we can’t have anything that means Christmas. We’re allowed to have some tinsel but that’s it. ‘When we send cards they have to say season’s greetings or best wishes. They must not be linked directly to Christmas.

‘When we asked we were told it is because we must not upset Muslims.’

Mrs Banks added: ‘ We have been instructed that we can’t say anything about Christmas and we certainly can’t have a Christmas tree. ‘ I think the policy is offensive to Muslims as well as to us. No reasonable person can object to Christians celebrating Christmas. But we are not supposed to show any sign of Christianity at all.’

Labour peer Lord Ahmed, one of the country’s most prominent Muslim politicians, said: ‘It is stupid to think all Muslims would be offended. ‘The Muslim community has been talking to Christians for the past 1,400 years.’ He added: ‘In my business all my staff celebrate Christmas and I celebrate with them. It is absolutely not the case that Christmas could damage the Red Cross reputation for neutrality – I think their people have gone a little bit over the top.’

The furore is a fresh blow to the image of what was once one of Britain’s most respected charities. The British Red Cross lost friends this year over its support for the French illegal immigrant camp at Sangatte and its insistence on concentrating large efforts on helping asylum seekers.

Yesterday officials at the charity’s London HQ confirmed that Christmas is barred from the 430 shops which contributed more than £20million to its income last year. ‘The Red Cross is a neutral organisation and we don’t want to be aligned with any political party or particular philosophy,’ a spokesman said.

‘We don’t want to be seen as a Christian or Islamic or Jewish organisation because that might compromise our ability to work in conflict situations around the world.’ (Yet in most of the Muslim world, the Red Cross ‘cross’ is not allowed and is replaced by a crescent symbol) He added: ‘In shops people can put up decorations like tinsel or snow which are seasonal. But the guidance is that things representative of Christmas cannot be shown.’

Volunteers, however, said they believed the Christmas ban was a product of political correctness of the kind that led Birmingham’s leaders to order their city to celebrate ‘Winterval’.

Rod Thomas, a Plymouth vicar and spokesman for the Reform evangelical grouping in the Church of England, said: ‘People who hold seriously to their faith are respected by people of other faiths. They should start calling themselves the Red Splodge. All their efforts will only succeed in alienating most people.’ Major Charles Heyman, editor of Jane’s World Armies, said: ‘There is really nothing to hurt the Red Cross in Christmas, is there? Would the Red Crescent stop its staff observing Ramadan ?

‘In practice, the role of the Red Cross is to run prisoner- of-war programmes and relief efforts for civilians. Those activities require the agreement of both sides in a conflict in the first place. Celebrating Christmas in a shop in England could hardly upset that.’

Major Heyman added: ‘The Red Cross is just engaging in a bit of political correctness.’ British Red Cross leaders have, however, not extended the ban to their own profitable products. Items currently on sale include Christmas cards featuring angels and wise men and Advent calendars with nativity scenes. The spokesman said: ‘The Red Cross is trying to be inclusive and we recognise there are lots of people who want to buy Christmas cards which they know will benefit us.’

The charity’s umbrella body, the Swiss-based International Red Cross, has also had politically-correct doubts about its famous symbol. But efforts to find an alternative were abandoned in the face of protest and ridicule five years ago.

Child bride, 13, dies of internal injuries four days after arranged marriage in Yemen

A 13-year-old Yemeni girl died of internal injuries four days after a family-arranged marriage to a man almost twice her age, a human rights group said.
Ilham Mahdi al Assi died last Friday in a hospital in Yemen's Hajja province, the Shaqaeq Arab Forum for Human Rights said, quoting a medical report.
She was married the previous Monday in a traditional arrangement known as a 'swap marriage', in which the brother of the bride also married the sister of the groom, it said.
Sigrid Kaag, regional director for UNICEF, said in a statement that the United Nations child agency was 'dismayed by the death of yet another child bride in Yemen'.
'Elham is a martyr of abuse of children's lives in Yemen and a clear example of what is justified by the lack of limits on the age of marriage,' SAF said in a statement.
A medical report from al-Thawra hospital said she suffered a tear to her genitals and severe bleeding.
The Yemeni rights group said the girl was married off in an agreement between two men to marry each other's sisters to avoid having to pay expensive bride-prices.
The practice of marrying young girls is widespread in Yemen and drew the attention of international rights groups seeking to pressure the government to outlaw child marriages.
Legislation that would make it illegal for those under the age of 17 to marry is in serious peril after strong opposition from some of Yemen's most influential Islamic leaders.
The group said that was a common arrangement in the deeply impoverished country.
Yemen's gripping poverty plays a role in hindering efforts to stamp out the practice, as poor families find themselves unable to say no to bride-prices in the hundreds of dollars for their daughters.
More than a quarter of Yemen's females marry before age 15, according to a report last year by the Social Affairs Ministry.
Tribal custom also plays a role, including the belief that a young bride can be shaped into an obedient wife, bear more children and be kept away from temptation.
Last month, a group of the country's highest Islamic authorities declared those supporting a ban on child marriages to be apostates.
A February 2009 law set the minimum age for marriage at 17, but it was repealed and sent back to parliament's constitutional committee for review after some politicians called it un-Islamic. The committee is expected to make a final decision on the legislation this month.
Some of the clerics who signed the decree against a ban sit on the committee.
Further imperilling the effort is the weak government's reluctance to confront the clerics and other conservative tribal officials, whose support is essential to their fragile hold on power.
The issue of Yemen's child brides got widespread attention three years ago when an eight-year-old girl boldly went by herself to a courtroom and demanded a judge dissolve her marriage to a man in his 30s.
She eventually won a divorce, and legislators began looking at ways to curb the practice.
In September, a 12-year-old Yemeni child-bride died after struggling for three days in labour to give birth, a local human rights organisation said.
Yemen once set 15 as the minimum age for marriage, but parliament annulled that law in the 1990s, saying parents should decide when a daughter marries.

Nottingham: Owner says takeaway is set to be regraded after zero rating

Nottingham: Owner says takeaway is set to be regraded after zero rating | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

THE Brick Oven pizza takeaway in Mansfield Road, in the city centre, was inspected and scored zero points for food hygiene. The food inspector found:

Generally standards were poor and there were no written food-safety management systems.

The premises and equipment were dirty, and there was no food safety monitoring in place.

Food handlers had no food hygiene training.

There was no wash hand basin.

The rear preparation room walls were badly flaking and could not be kept clean, and might contaminate food by flakes of paint and plaster falling into food.

The floor in the kitchen, the fridges in the shop and preparation room and cooking equipment very dirty and required a deep clean.

Owner Irfan Akram said he had only just taken over the takeaway when the food inspection was carried out.

He said: "We have made all the changes that need to be made, and we are waiting to be inspected again.

"I was not aware I had to have the food hygiene training when I took over the shop. I had never before been involved in the catering business, but I have now completed that course.

"A food inspector has since been to the store, and said that she is happy with the changes, but we are waiting to be regraded. We have had good reviews from magazines like Left Lion."

Media black out as another Muslim gang rape shames Rochdale

Media black out as another Muslim gang rape shames Rochdale | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

By David O’Loughlin

Yesterday 3 Muslim men were found guilty at Liverpool Crown Court of raping a 19 year old virgin Abdul Sajid aged 18; Ammar Zahoor aged 18 and Ali Osman aged 19 were all convicted of repeatedly raping a 19 year old student in a house in Rochdale.

The girl was invited back to Zahoor’s house where she was repeatedly raped by all 3 men and threatened with a knife.

The jurors were told that the 3 men even filmed part of the attack, the judge has put back sentencing of these 3 animals to next month and let’s hope they get a long jail term which this horrid attack deserves.

Yet again the name of Rochdale has been dragged through the gutter.

It seems to the many good people of Rochdale that it is not safe to walk the streets alone if you are a young woman.

Islamic teaching and prayer centre could replace former Aylesbury pub

An Islamic education and prayer centre could replace an abandoned Aylesbury pub, if planning permission is granted.

An Islamic education and prayer centre could replace an abandoned Aylesbury pub, if planning permission is granted.

The Steeplechase has stood empty for a number of years, but now the Aylesbury Islamic Education Trust wants to convert it to teach Islamic studies and hold prayer sessions.

Some residents have expressed fears over the plans, including the potential impact on parking.

Isabel Scott said: “I hope it doesn’t go through. I would rather see a block of flats there.”

The trust currently has a centre in Tring Road, but needs a bigger space to meet demand.

If approved, classrooms, a games room and a caretaker’s flat would be installed in the former Taylor Road pub. Some 150 children at any one time would attend two sessions between 4pm and 7pm on weekdays. There would also be five daily 15-minute prayer sessions and longer Friday prayers.

A similar centre which replaced the former Skinny Dog pub in Churchill Avenue, Southcourt, sparked protests when plans were unveiled in 2008.

But residents The Bucks Herald spoke to this week said they have not had problems with it since it opened.

However, Mrs P Beales wrote of the new proposals in an online submission: “We do not want or need another prayer centre.

“If the site cannot be used for the benefit of the whole community, ie another public house, it should be given over for housing.”

MP demands government agencies do more to tackle the problem of 'Gangs of Muslim men raping white kids'

MP demands government agencies do more to tackle the problem of 'Gangs of Muslim men raping white kids' | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
MP for Keighley sparks outrage with comments during a Commons debate when he also said Muslim men are 'fundamentally' sexist towards women.

* Keighley MP uses Commons debate to demand government agencies do more to tackle the problem
* He also suggests Muslim men are 'fundamentally' sexist towards women
* Bradford Council for Mosques say he has over-stepped the mark

A Tory MP has sparked controversy after claiming, what we already know, that ‘gangs of Muslim men are going round and raping white kids at this moment in time’.
Kris Hopkins, MP for Keighley, said the extraordinary claim was a ‘fact’ and urged government agencies to tackle the problem.
But he has been criticised by Muslim leaders in his constituency, who said he overstepped the mark during a Commons debate.
Mr Hopkins, a former leader of Bradford city council, also claimed Muslim men were ‘fundamentally’ sexist towards women, and politicians had to challenge behaviour and culture.
Speaking in a parliamentary debate on child sexual exploitation, Mr Hopkins claimed mainstream parties had failed by not speaking out about the racial and cultural aspect to some abuse cases and extremists groups had filled the vacuum.
He told MPs: ‘The British National Party will use grooming as a key element of its campaign in the Rotherham election campaign, which will start soon.
‘Not all British Pakistani men are abusing white kids. There is a minority, though. The media coverage gives long lists of notorious abusers - including vicars, priests and celebrities - who are all white and non-Muslim.’
The ‘vast majority’ of child abusers in this country are white, he added.
‘But we should not get away from the fact that gangs of Muslim men are going round and raping white kids at this moment in time.
‘That is an horrendous thing to say, but it is the fact of what is happening. I want to explore some of the state’s agencies’ behaviour towards that, and some of the community’s associated behaviour and culture.’

Mr Hopkins conceded that his friends in the Commons and ‘back home’ would not like what he was saying, but he felt it had to be said.
‘Fundamentally, there is a sexist behaviour by Muslim men towards women,’ he said.
‘We talk about institutions and commissions and all the rest of it. Fundamentally, as leaders, we need to challenge the behaviour that is going on.
‘We need to do that from a point, though, of not being racist. We are friends who want those people to be successful in our society. They are part of British society, but there is behaviour that is unacceptable.’
Bradford Council for Mosques said Mr Hopkins had overstepped the mark.
A spokesman said: ‘All of us, Muslim or non-Muslim, are equally appalled by the activities of criminals amidst our society.
‘To suggest that the Muslim community does not care is grossly libellous. Kris Hopkins is right to draw the attention to the activities of the criminals and the plight of the victims but he has overstepped his remit,’ he told the Bradford Telegraph and Argus.
‘He has the right to be angry but, equally, a man of his position should be more discerning in what he says and how he says it. He should not overlook the fact that he went around pleading for votes from the same Muslim faith institutions that he so arrogantly dismissive of.’

'THE EXCLUSION ZONE THAT IS THE GHETTO'

'THE EXCLUSION ZONE THAT IS THE GHETTO' | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
In her new book, Two Fat Ladies star Clarissa Dickson Wright says she felt like 'a complete outcast and a pariah' in her own country when she visited the city...

Celebrity chef Clarissa Dickson Wright has caused outrage after claiming that visiting a Muslim area of Leicester was ‘the most frightening experience of her life’.
Writing in her new book, Clarissa’s England, she said visiting the city — which has a large Asian population — made her feel like a 'pariah and an outcast in the middle of my own country.'
And when questioned on her description by a local newspaper, she fumed: 'I’m surprised any of the people who might object could read what I wrote as it is written in English.'
But the overweight chef adds that there’s an ‘upside’ to everything — and is at least thankful for the large number of Asian restaurants in the city.
Her description of the town has caused outrage.
The Two Fat Ladies chef dedicates a chapter of Clarissa’s England: A Gamely Gallop Through the English Counties to each county in England, to discussing their culinary, cultural and historical merits.
On Leicestershire, she writes of the city’s 'ghetto'.
She describes coming off the ring road to escape a traffic jam and becoming lost.
She wrote: 'I found myself in an area where all the men were wearing Islamic clothing and all the women were wearing burkas and walking slightly behind them.
'None of the men would talk to me when I tried to find out where I was and how to get out of there because I was an English female and they don’t talk to females they don’t know, while if the women could speak English they weren’t about to show it by having a word with me.
'I have many good acquaintances and even some friends among the Muslim community, yet here I was, in the heart of a city in the middle of my own country, a complete outcast and pariah.
'If multiculturalism works, which I have always been rather dubious of, surely it must be multicultural and not monocultural.
'However, everything has an upside and one of the results of this is that Leicester has a very good selection of Asian restaurants.

'I can only hope that in generations to come there will be a merging of the cultures and not the exclusion zone that is the ghetto.'
Ibrahim Mogra, assistant secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, and a city imam, said: 'How can she judge an entire community on her one-off rare time of getting lost in Leicester?

The Two Fat Ladies chef dedicated a chapter of her new book to Leicestershire, where she wrote of the city's 'ghetto'
'I find it very hurtful to read because everybody is working so hard to create a peaceful and happy Leicester.

'It showed a complete lack of appreciation of the fact we are almost two million in this country, doing our bit for our country.
'When she says that she was in the 'centre of a city in the centre of her own country, I take objection. This is also my country and this is also my city.
'I would like to call on Leicester people to be even more welcoming and hospitable than we’ve been so far.'
Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby said: 'That is the sort of thing that makes me very angry — when someone breezes in from outside and paints a picture of Leicester that does not have any foundation in reality.
'It may help sell books but it is cheap.'
The book, which was published in September, claims to be 'as much an entertaining narrative as it is a travel companion'.
'Clarissa's England will amuse, enlighten, surprise and delight all those who read it,' reads the blurb.
When contacted by local newspaper The Leicester Mercury, the chef, who lives in Edinburgh, said: 'I’m surprised any of the people who might object could read what I wrote as it is written in English.

'When you get to 65, you will think back on this conversation and I think you might find yourself in my frame of mind.”
'Visiting Leicester scared me and I am not scared easy. It frightened me because it was part of my country that I was born in and there are a lot of radical Muslim preachers in this country.
'I was in London when the July 7 bomb attacks happened and this, to me, was proof for those people who have been saying we’re getting ghettoisation of Muslim areas.
'I have never believed that political correctness was a reason not to say what I have experienced.'
She said she had 'done a lot' for Leicestershire, campaigning for the protected geographical status of Melton pork pies and Stilton.

'THE EXCLUSION ZONE THAT IS THE GHETTO'

In her book Clarissa's England, the chef describes her visit to Leicester.
'I had one of the most frightening adventures of my life there. I turned off the ring road because there had been a car crash and I wanted to avoid being stuck in traffic, and soon found myself lost. I couldn't tell you where I was but it was not terribly far from the city centre.
'As we know, Leicester has a very high Asian Muslim population and I found myself in an area where all the men were wearing Islamic clothing and all the women were wearing burkas and walking slightly behind them.
'None of the men would talk to me when I tried to find out where I was and how to get out of there because I was an English female and they don't talk to females they don't know, while if the women could speak English they weren't about to show it by having a word with me.
'Eventually I had to stop at a newsagents and the only way I could discover my location was to buy a map of the city. Somebody, very reluctantly, pointed to where I was and then I had to work out the rest for myself.
'I am not a particular admirer of Islam or indeed, I should add, almost any other religion, but I have many good acquaintances and even some friends among the Muslim community, yet here I was in the heart of city in the middle of my own country a complete outcast and pariah.
'If multiculturalism works, which I have always been rather dubious of, surely it must be multicultural and not monocultural. I just wanted to relate this to you because I think you ought to be aware of such things.
'However, everything has an upside and one of the results of this is that Leicester has a very good selection of Asian restaurants where you can eat excellent curry.
'The city also has a thriving market attended by farmers from the local countryside and quite a number from the Asian community too, who sell not only herbs and spices and Asian vegetables but also delicious ready-made goods.
'So thinking back to the East End of London of my childhood, I can only hope that in generations to come there will be a merging of the cultures and not the exclusion zone that is the ghetto.'

Help For Heroes donations attacked by Muslims

Help For Heroes donations attacked by Muslims | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
Organisers of a village May Queen fete have come under attack for choosing to support a charity that helps wounded soldiers.

Woodmansterne May Queen Fete has been a tradition since 1966, but the decision this year to choose Help for Heroes as the main recipient of their fundraising on the village green on May 7 has prompted an angry protest.

Mohammad Siddique condemned the charity for helping soldiers get back to the front line and said he was contacting local MP Crispin Blunt to inform him a number of Muslim groups are now considering an online petition designed to force a Commons debate on withdrawing its charitable status.

He said: "My family and our local Muslim community were disappointed to see that the Woodmansterne May Queen committee have seen fit to publicise their Bank Holiday fete by adopting the Help for Heroes as their nominated charity.

"It is, of course, cynical and absurd to claim that Help for Heroes is 'non-political' and 'simply wants to help'."

"It is a straightforward fundraising device designed to rehabilitate injured British soldiers and, wherever possible, return them to the front line.

"It is equally misleading for Help for Heroes to describe these men and women as ‘volunteers’ - they are uniformed soldiers contracted for wages to do the bidding of their government...........Read more:
