In her new book, Two Fat Ladies star Clarissa Dickson Wright says she felt like 'a complete outcast and a pariah' in her own country when she visited the city...

Celebrity chef Clarissa Dickson Wright has caused outrage after claiming that visiting a Muslim area of Leicester was ‘the most frightening experience of her life’.
Writing in her new book, Clarissa’s England, she said visiting the city — which has a large Asian population — made her feel like a 'pariah and an outcast in the middle of my own country.'
And when questioned on her description by a local newspaper, she fumed: 'I’m surprised any of the people who might object could read what I wrote as it is written in English.'
But the overweight chef adds that there’s an ‘upside’ to everything — and is at least thankful for the large number of Asian restaurants in the city.
Her description of the town has caused outrage.
The Two Fat Ladies chef dedicates a chapter of Clarissa’s England: A Gamely Gallop Through the English Counties to each county in England, to discussing their culinary, cultural and historical merits.
On Leicestershire, she writes of the city’s 'ghetto'.
She describes coming off the ring road to escape a traffic jam and becoming lost.
She wrote: 'I found myself in an area where all the men were wearing Islamic clothing and all the women were wearing burkas and walking slightly behind them.
'None of the men would talk to me when I tried to find out where I was and how to get out of there because I was an English female and they don’t talk to females they don’t know, while if the women could speak English they weren’t about to show it by having a word with me.
'I have many good acquaintances and even some friends among the Muslim community, yet here I was, in the heart of a city in the middle of my own country, a complete outcast and pariah.
'If multiculturalism works, which I have always been rather dubious of, surely it must be multicultural and not monocultural.
'However, everything has an upside and one of the results of this is that Leicester has a very good selection of Asian restaurants.

'I can only hope that in generations to come there will be a merging of the cultures and not the exclusion zone that is the ghetto.'
Ibrahim Mogra, assistant secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, and a city imam, said: 'How can she judge an entire community on her one-off rare time of getting lost in Leicester?

The Two Fat Ladies chef dedicated a chapter of her new book to Leicestershire, where she wrote of the city's 'ghetto'
'I find it very hurtful to read because everybody is working so hard to create a peaceful and happy Leicester.

'It showed a complete lack of appreciation of the fact we are almost two million in this country, doing our bit for our country.
'When she says that she was in the 'centre of a city in the centre of her own country, I take objection. This is also my country and this is also my city.
'I would like to call on Leicester people to be even more welcoming and hospitable than we’ve been so far.'
Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby said: 'That is the sort of thing that makes me very angry — when someone breezes in from outside and paints a picture of Leicester that does not have any foundation in reality.
'It may help sell books but it is cheap.'
The book, which was published in September, claims to be 'as much an entertaining narrative as it is a travel companion'.
'Clarissa's England will amuse, enlighten, surprise and delight all those who read it,' reads the blurb.
When contacted by local newspaper The Leicester Mercury, the chef, who lives in Edinburgh, said: 'I’m surprised any of the people who might object could read what I wrote as it is written in English.

'When you get to 65, you will think back on this conversation and I think you might find yourself in my frame of mind.”
'Visiting Leicester scared me and I am not scared easy. It frightened me because it was part of my country that I was born in and there are a lot of radical Muslim preachers in this country.
'I was in London when the July 7 bomb attacks happened and this, to me, was proof for those people who have been saying we’re getting ghettoisation of Muslim areas.
'I have never believed that political correctness was a reason not to say what I have experienced.'
She said she had 'done a lot' for Leicestershire, campaigning for the protected geographical status of Melton pork pies and Stilton.

In her book Clarissa's England, the chef describes her visit to Leicester.
'I had one of the most frightening adventures of my life there. I turned off the ring road because there had been a car crash and I wanted to avoid being stuck in traffic, and soon found myself lost. I couldn't tell you where I was but it was not terribly far from the city centre.
'As we know, Leicester has a very high Asian Muslim population and I found myself in an area where all the men were wearing Islamic clothing and all the women were wearing burkas and walking slightly behind them.
'None of the men would talk to me when I tried to find out where I was and how to get out of there because I was an English female and they don't talk to females they don't know, while if the women could speak English they weren't about to show it by having a word with me.
'Eventually I had to stop at a newsagents and the only way I could discover my location was to buy a map of the city. Somebody, very reluctantly, pointed to where I was and then I had to work out the rest for myself.
'I am not a particular admirer of Islam or indeed, I should add, almost any other religion, but I have many good acquaintances and even some friends among the Muslim community, yet here I was in the heart of city in the middle of my own country a complete outcast and pariah.
'If multiculturalism works, which I have always been rather dubious of, surely it must be multicultural and not monocultural. I just wanted to relate this to you because I think you ought to be aware of such things.
'However, everything has an upside and one of the results of this is that Leicester has a very good selection of Asian restaurants where you can eat excellent curry.
'The city also has a thriving market attended by farmers from the local countryside and quite a number from the Asian community too, who sell not only herbs and spices and Asian vegetables but also delicious ready-made goods.
'So thinking back to the East End of London of my childhood, I can only hope that in generations to come there will be a merging of the cultures and not the exclusion zone that is the ghetto.'

Pussy Riot Celebrity Hypocrisy

Pussy Riot Celebrity Hypocrisy | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
MICHAEL BURLEIGH: Rimsha Masih, a young girl with Down's Syndrome, is currently locked in an insalubrious adult jail.

The jailing for blasphemy of the girls of Pussy Riot led to protests from almost every superannuated rocker one could think of.
There has been no such concern about Rimsha Masih, a young Christian girl who lives in a slum area called Meharbadi on the outskirts of Islamabad. Or rather lived, since she is currently in an insalubrious adult jail in Rawlpindi, apparently for her own protection. Her family have also fled their home, along with about a thousand of their (Christian) neighbours.
Rimsha Mashi is illiterate and has Down's Syndrome; her family are lowly street sweepers. Her offence? While helping her family, she burned a heap of rubbish. Since she cannot read, she did not notice they included a textbook used to teach the Quran. Although few locals were bothered by this, a cleric and two shopkeepers immediately got on the case, inciting an Islamist rent-a-mob. 'What good are your prayers?' the cleric asked 'if your Quran is being burned'. We have seen that kind of incitement so many times - think back to the murderous attacks on all Scandinavians after the cartoons affair.

The girl then had to be arrested to prevent her being killed, for it is the mob rather than the Pakistani state which most ferociously seeks to enforce blasphemy laws.
The police have every reason to fear for Masih's life. In July a mob dragged a mentally impaired man from inside a police station in rural Punjab, where he was being questioned for alleged desecration of religious texts. They beat him to death and burned his body outside the police station.
Other religious minorities in Pakistan also feel deeply unsafe. Last week, 25 Shia pilgrims were taken from a bus by Sunni extremists and gunned down. Hundreds of Hindus have fled to India in recent weeks. The leader of the Ahmadi sect was assassinated in the teeming port of Karachi. Their graves have been desecrated with Quaranic slogans too.
The Pakistani government has not been spared the hand of diabolical fanaticism either. The Governor of the Punjab was murdered by his own bodyguard for questioning the laws on blasphemy. The only Christian in the government, Sahba Bhatti, was killed for calling for reform of these laws.
So far, I have not heard a word from the likes of millionaire socialite ("journalist") Jemima Khan nor any of those who eagerly latched onto the brilliant self-publicists called Pussy Riot, who doubtless, do not deserve to be in jail. When I do, I'll take them at their own estimation as serious people.

Paki authorities failed to allay minority concerns

Paki authorities failed to allay minority concerns | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
Pakistan news - Pakistan`s leading human rights organisation has expressed "alarm and outrage at the continued exodus of religious minorities".

Lahore: Pakistan's leading human rights organisation has expressed "alarm and outrage at the continued exodus of religious minorities" and said that authorities had consistently failed to allay the concerns of these communities despite repeated reminders from civil society.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan said in a statement that reports of Pakistani Hindus migrating to India "have been coming from Sindh and Balochistan (provinces) fairly regularly".

Spokespersons for minorities have argued that vested interests are threatening and frightening non-Muslim citizens with a view to forcing them to migrate, the HRCP said.

"Some of these elements are said to be religious extremists while others have plans to grab the minorities' property. In any case, there is little doubt that the minorities have been driven to despair," the statement said.

The continued migration of religious minorities from Sindh and Balochistan is a "reflection of the state's failure to save these citizens from violence, discrimination and disgusting excesses such as the forced conversion of young women", the HRCP said.

Referring to the recent conversion of a young Hindu man during the live telecast of a special show to mark the Islamic holy month of Ramzan, the HRCP said this was a "particularly reprehensible and indefensible manifestation of the attitude towards non-Muslims".

"HRCP desperately hopes that the government shares its distress in this respect and reiterates its call for the state to address, in consultation with the communities in question, the reasons forcing religious minorities to flee the country," the statement added.

The rights body also took notice of the "anger and panic" caused by reports this week that that several hundred Hindus from Sindh and Balochistan were migrating to India and said these feelings had "subsided somewhat after the disclosure that they were on a pilgrimage".

"Most of them said they would return to Pakistan while some said they might not," the statement said.

Pakistani authorities detained the Hindus at the Wagah land border for almost seven hours yesterday before allowing them to cross over to India after ascertaining that they were going on a pilgrimage.

The HRCP urged civil society groups and the media to "keep the spotlight firmly trained on the raw deal" the minority communities were getting.

Muslim hospital consultant told to pay ex-wife maintenance despite claims he owes her nothing under Islamic rules

Dr Zaid Al-Saffar told he must follow 'the rule in this country'
Ordered to pay £60,000 to his former wife, academic Hanan Al-Saffar
He felt the payments were illegitimate according to Islamic culture
Claims: 'Family law in this country is biased against Muslim people’

A Muslim hospital consultant was told yesterday that he must pay his ex-wife maintenance even though under Islamic rules he believes he owes her nothing.

A judge told Dr Zaid Al-Saffar that he must follow ‘the rule in this country’ and share his money.

The Appeal Court decision means Dr Al-Saffar must pay £60,000 to his former wife, academic Hanan Al-Saffar.

The ruling sounded a warning to Muslim couples who believe their marriages are ordered according to sharia law and agree to be bound by Islamic courts.

Lord Justice Ward told Dr Al-Saffar: ‘The rule in this country is that you share and the starting point is equal division.
‘You came out of the marriage without having made your wife any substantial capital payment.’

He added: ‘Life is sometimes hard; do not be consumed with bitterness.’

But Dr Al-Saffar said after the case: ‘By playing the system and pretending to be a victim she got everything, which I think is totally unfair.

‘Family law in this country is biased against Muslim people.’

The consultant rheumatologist at Scarborough Hospital in North Yorkshire, who is also the head of the Islamic Society in the resort town, was married for eight years, and the couple had two children.

The marriage was formalised following the Islamic tradition of Mahr, under which the groom pays a gift to his bride.
Because of this, his wife had signed away her share of the couple’s home in Belvedere Road, in Scarborough.

Just another week of the failed and forced multicultural nightmare

Just another week of the failed and forced multicultural nightmare | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

On and On it goes

Just another week of the failed and forced multicultural nightmare we are experiencing in what was once a decent, law abiding country; A Third World culture will bring Third World practice with it, Here are just a few examples from the past week.

Abdul Marin, 41, a former imam of Wellingborough mosque has been found unanimously guilty of seven sexual assault charges at Northampton Crown Court after telling a jury that he was the victim of a conspiracy.

Marin, who left last year, was accused of sexually molesting two girls, who cannot be named, kissing them and placing his hands inside their clothing during religious lessons of the Koran.

Rebecca Herbert, prosecuting, said: “The defendant was a tutor in the Koran and from about 2007 to 2010, he visited child A’s home address several times a week to tutor her in the Koran.

“During these times and at various other times, both girls mentioned to one or other of their parents that the defendant was physically affectionate with them.

“They said they did not like it and did not really want to have their lessons with him.

“During the summer of 2010, the lessons came to an end by mutual agreement, but it would seem it was due to their ages, not for reasons concerning the defendant’s behaviour.

“The defendant, being an imam, was respected and highly regarded by all but you, the jury, may feel it would have been hard for these two young Muslim girls to have spelt out what was happening.

Sexual matters are simply not discussed.

“The lessons finished in 2010, but things came to light because during the autumn term at school, child A watched a video about bullying and as she watched, she saw a section which talked about sexual abuse, along the lines that people should not touch you in a certain way and if they did, you were to tell someone.

As a result, she spoke to one of her teachers on November 2, 2010.”

Mrs Herbert added: “Child A accused the defendant of frequently putting his hand down her top and squeezing her breast area. On one occasion, she remembered he forced her to sit on his lap.

“Child B remembered when she was about seven, he touched her by putting his hand down her Burka and ‘bits he should not supposed to touch’.

She recalled it happened twice and said she knew similar things had happened to child A. She said the defendant told them not to tell anyone.”

Matin, of Albert Road, Wellingborough said the allegations were all part of a conspiracy against him by the children’s families.

He said the two girls had stated they would make up concocted sexual allegations against him to stop him telling their parents they were not concentrating on their religious lessons.

He added: “One (of the children) said that if you tell my father then I will say that you did this and that, that you touched us. We will go to the police and to the school.

“Then they said sorry and I thought that was the end of it.

“I was upset I teach children who could say something like that.”

The jury took two-and-a-half hours’ deliberation to unanimously convict him of all charges.

Judge Michael Fowler said: “Given the breach of trust, the age of the children and the period over which it happened, there is the potential for a custodial sentence.

“Indeed, when coming back to court, he should prepare himself for custody.”

A sexual predator, who attacked two women in a nightclub and a young mother, is facing jail.

Rasul Abdullah (31) had sexually assaulted his first two victims on the same night, last November, in Pharaoh’s in Burnley.

He had been bailed and had then struck again, molesting his third target after locking her and her baby in his house in Brierfield, Burnley Crown Court was told.

The defendant, an Iraqi national, is said to have indefinite leave to remain in this country.

The menacing and dangerous sexual predator’ was accused of putting his hand up the skirts of two women in the Burnley nightclub, the court heard.

‘Out of control’ Abdullah then molested a mother only two months later, after locking the woman and her baby in his house.

After being arrested, Abdullah claimed he had done nothing in the club and said the women were lying.

Bomb in car boot on M1: Police investigating whether occupants were on way to attack English Defence League rally

Bomb in car boot on M1: Police investigating whether occupants were on way to attack English Defence League rally | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

One theory is the occupants were planning to bomb a march by the EDL taking place just hours later.

Counter-terror police were yesterday investigating whether two men found with a bomb in their car were on their way to attack an English Defence League rally.

They discovered the Afghanistan-style explosive device by sheer chance when they pulled over the vehicle on the M1.

Also hidden in the boot were two guns, ammunition and leaflets warning “infidels” not to follow the EDL, David Cameron and the Queen.

One theory is the two male occupants were planning to bomb a march by the notorious anti-Islamic group taking place just hours after they were stopped.

Officers only discovered the guns and bomb two days after impounding the car for having no insurance last Saturday.

By then police had already let the driver and passenger go.

Detectives traced the owner of the car and armed police carried out raids in Birmingham and West Yorkshire this week. Seven men were arrested.

It is the first time such an improvised explosive device – used by Taliban insurgents to kill British troops in Afghanistan – has been found in the UK.

Almost 500 members of the EDL marched in Dewsbury last Saturday, where one of the suspects lives.

They had widely publicised the event – bragging that they were coming to take over the “Islamic republic of Dewsbury”.

It is not known how big the suspect device was or the destruction it could have caused if detonated.

Saturday’s incident began when uniformed motorway cops pulled over the car as it travelled south on the M1 between junctions 33 and 34 in South Yorkshire.

The numberplate recognition system in their vehicle alerted them that the vehicle was uninsured.

It is believed one of the unsuspecting officers drove the vehicle to a local police pound where the driver and passenger were freed.

It was only on Monday, when a full inspection of the car was made, that the IED, weapons and leaflets were discovered.

This sparked the huge Midlands anti-terror hunt for the occupants and any of their accomplices.

West Midlands police arrested three men – believed to include the driver and passenger – aged 23, 26 and 27 in Sparkhill, Birmingham, on Tuesday.

A 23-year-old and two men aged 22 were held in raids in the Alum Rock, Smethwick and Moseley areas of the city the following evening.

A man of 43 was arrested in Dewsbury on Thursday.

Anti-terror officers spent yesterday searching a house in the town belonging to Mohammed Mohazim Akbar.

All the suspects who were arrested were last night being quizzed on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.

It is believed two of the men arrested in Sparkhill are brothers of a terror suspect currently awaiting trial in the UK.

The 20-year-old is accused of collecting money for terrorism, travelling to Pakistan for terrorism training and travelling abroad to commit acts of terrorism.

A West Midlands police spokesman said: “The arrests followed a routine stop.

“Firearms, offensive weapons and other material were later found hidden inside, prompting police to take action to trace and arrest the driver, passenger and others suspected of being involved.

“The items from the vehicle are currently undergoing forensic analysis and searches are or have been carried out at the addresses of those in custody.”

Local Houses? Only if you're not local! | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
Adverts like this have been popping up increasingly all over our major cities, none more so than in our capital.

In years gone by it was well recognised that signs would appear saying “No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs”.

Those days are long gone and any such sign showing in today’s Britain would see the owner of the establishment hauled before a court and sentenced to custody immediately.

A quick internet search found these advertisements that are currently online at http://www.gumtree.com

Along with others such as

"Double bedroom available… Asian only"

"Double room to let Gujarati (Indian) only"

Close to the station and bus stops (Filipino only)

"Professional single lady or Sri Lanka professional couple"

"House for rent… only Asian families"

There have been so many of these adverts being placed across London now that even the anti British BBC have dedicated a story to it on the national news website!
Of course the establishment will take no notice of this anti white racism, but can you imagine the consequences of a “White British Family Only Please” advert !

The Pro-Nazi Muslims

The Pro-Nazi Muslims | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

During World War II, hundreds of thousands of foreign peoples joined with Hitler's legions to bring theirs people into special status in Hitler's New Order. Tens of thousands among them were Muslims, where the majority of them came from Soviet Union. Under the banner of the crescent and the swastika, these Soviet Muslims believe to become holy warriors to liberated theirs land. But the end of this unholy alliance was a disaster for them.

The Pro-Nazi Soviet Muslims

When the German Army invaded Soviet Russia on June 22, 1941 they saw many of their opponent inhabitants welcomed them as liberators. One of the group of Soviet citizens that felt had reason to rejoiced the coming of the Teutonic legion invaders were Soviet Muslims.

Many of Soviet Muslims hates domination of Russians upon them. They still remembered theirs golden age under the Muslim khans, emirs, and sultans before they fall into Russian Czardom between 17th and 19th centuries. Actually, when the Czardom liquidated during Bolshevik Revolution, the Muslim Soviet got a chances to liberated themselves from theirs Russian masters and formed some independent states with help from theirs Turkish brothers and her German allied. Even for a while they thought to build a Greater Turkey Sultanate like Pan-Turanian longing.

In Caucasus, an all-Islam army, composed of Azeris, Ajars, and other Caucasian Muslims, assist the Turkish army under Nuri Pasha, who was known for his Pan-Turanian ideas. They besieged many non-Muslims towns in Caucasus that refused surrender to them and starved it into submissions. Some of them implicated with the massacres of Armenians.

The same thing developed in Central Asia. In Kokand, a free government of Turkestan was proclaimed, while the emirs of Khiva and Bukhara asserted their independence. The Turkish-Tartar peoples in Crimea and Volga also arise against the Russians.

Unfortunately, after succeeded consolidated their power in Russia, the Bolshevist penetrated these areas. One by one centers of Muslim resistance to communism fell. The attempt to free these Muslim areas from Russian rule had failed, and the Soviet government succeeded in reestablishing its authority over the whole Caucasus and Turkestan. But the native peoples rejected this Russian-Communist authority. Some of them rise against the Moscow rule when the communist forced collectivized farms and atheistic attitudes upon them. One of the uprisings erupted in Chechnya, where the Cechens under an ex-communist named Hasan Israilov rise against the Soviet regime.

The unrest of these Muslim peoples didn't escape from Hitler intention. When many of Muslim Soviet POWs enthusiastic wished to join with the victorious Wehrmacht against theirs ruler, theirs aspirations get a green light from the German dictator. On December, 1941 a top secret memorandum ordered that the OKW was to create two Muslim units: the Turkestanisch Legion, consisted Muslim volunteers from Central Asia, like Turkomans, Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Kirghizs, Karakalpaks, and Tadjiks; and Kaukasisch-Mohammedan Legion from Caucasian Muslims volunteers, like Azeris, Daghestans, Chechens, Ingushes, and Lezghins. Beside a separated unit consisted Muslim Tartars, Wolgatatarische Legion, was formed in Poland on January 1942.

Two Muslim converts arrested over Olympic terror plot

Two Muslim converts arrested over Olympic terror plot | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
Two Muslim converts have been arrested in East London on suspicion of plotting an attack against the Olympics.

Sources said the arrests were based on a tip-off and the investigation was at an early stage.
One source said it was unclear if the alleged plot was serious or developed or what method of attack was to be used but said the Olympics could have been the target.
The two men, aged 18 and 32, were arrested at separate residential addresses in east London, according to Scotland Yard.
A spokesman said officers from the Metropolitan Police Counter-Terrorism Command, known as SO15, raided the properties at 7am on Thursday morning.
The men were detained under the Terrorism Act 2000 on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.

They are currently being held at a central London police station, likely to be the counter-terrorism holding cells at Paddington Green.
Scotland Yard and MI5 act on tips far quicker in the lead up to major events than they would do at other times.
The security services accept that any plotting that takes place in the lead up to the Olympics, which begin in Stratford, East London on July 27, is likely to be linked to the games.
Two years ago six street cleaners were arrested over an alleged plot to kill the Pope the day before he arrived in London after they were overheard threatening to kill a Christian for every page of the Koran.
A caller reported that five men were looking at a picture in the Metro newspaper of the Pope’s motor vehicle and talking about an incident where the Koran was allegedly burned.
All six were later released without charge.
Earlier this year two men from East London were among a gang that pleaded guilty to plotting a bomb attack on the London Stock Exchange.
Mohammed Chowdhury, 21, and Shah Rahman, 29, were under surveillance as they toured central London sites for six hours in November 2010 and discussed launching the attacks.

Muslims believe death - or murdering someone - is a value itself

Muslims believe death - or murdering someone - is a value itself | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
The biggest threat to the Olympic Games comes from British Muslim extremists, a senior intelligence figure says.

In a private briefing to BBC London, the security official said the Olympic Stadium would be the "most sensitive terrorist target in the world".

Officials are also concerned the Games are being held during the Islamic month of Ramadan for the first time in over 30 years.

The un-named official added "community-led intelligence" would be key.

'Muslims love London'
Explaining why the Games could be a target, Noman Benotman, a former extremist who knew Osama Bin Laden, said terrorists think it is taking place during a "sacred time".

"Maybe it's an opportunity for them to end up in heaven," he said.

"They believe death - or murdering someone - is a value itself, which is absolutely against all the teaching and concepts of Islam itself.

"Life is value, not death."

BBC correspondent Asad Ahmed said there have been more terror suspects arrested in east London than in any other similar sized area in Europe.

Roy Ramm, a former Met Police commander who specialises in terrorism, said security forces had have to be sensitive and effective.

"This has got to be an intelligence-led operation," he said.

"They've got to identify cells which will be plotting to do something.

"If they move too quickly, they can be accused of being oppressive and disruptive, particularly in the month of Ramadan. If they move too slowly, then the risk to the public is enormous."

Nabil Ahmed from the Federation of Student Islamic Societies stressed: "Terrorism has absolutely no place in the Muslim community and if somebody is going to be going about this sort of activity, of course that is going to be reported to the police. (yeah right !)

The Islamic Republic of Dewsbury by Danny Lockwood

The Islamic Republic of Dewsbury by Danny Lockwood | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

Danny Lockwood is the proprietor and sometimes editor of The Press, an independent newspaper in Dewsbury Yorkshire. He has a column there which he writes as ‘Ed Lines’. Much of what he reports does not go down well with local Muslims to the extent that he has been threatened and demonstrated about, not to mention a court case between him and former MP Shahid Malik.

Dewsbury, or more specifically the area within Dewsbury called Savile Town, is known nationally as, first, the home of three of the four suicide bombers who murdered 52 people in London in July 2005 and second for being the current United Kingdom HQ of Tablighi Jamaat and the site of their Markazi Mosque. As we know Tablighi Jamaat control many mosques including the Abbeymills site in West Ham where they want to build the so called mega-mosque, which will then be their national Headquarters, if not their European Headquarters.

Dewsbury and Savile Town are also of personal interest to me as my husband lived there for two periods during his childhood and things his father told us of those times are relevant.

The title of the book speaks for itself; it details the islamification of those Yorkshire towns and villages starting from Savile Town and spreading out to encompass most of Dewsbury itself. Savile Town is an estate built in the 19th century between the River Calder and the railway line on land owned by the Savile family.

Lockwood dates the takeover to a specific date, the 24th June 1989. That was at the time of the furore over Salman Rushdie’s Satanic Verses. On that day copies of the book were being burnt in Bradford and the BNP held a rally in Dewsbury. This was countered by the Black Workers Group who mustered the Muslim youths of Savile Town and a riot broke out. The police contained the angry Muslims and started to move the mob back across the Savile bridge over the River Calder into Savile Town. Before them was a bastion of traditional white Englishness, the Scarborough pub.

The landlord described the scene. He looked out. All the Asian shops were suddenly shuttered. Their cars, which he allowed them to park in the pub car park, were gone; only a car belonging to a lunchtime customer at the pub remained. A sea of people was advancing down Savile Road towards him. He locked the doors of the pub but they broke the doors down and, unable to break the shatterproof glass pushed in the entire window frames. The customers fled upstairs while the downstairs of the pub was completely smashed. They feared that the building would be set alight with them inside. Outside the car in the car park was a write-off. Eventually the police arrived and the rioters left.

Although the pub was cleared up and reopened for business very quickly, it was never the same. The landlord moved on but died young, the pub “limped on like a festering sore on the side of the Muslim enclave” until the brewery sold it cheaply and it became flats. In the fallout after the riot 70 arrests were made, 59 of them Muslim and the Kirklees Black Workers group assisted by the usual white Marxists took up their cause. The police officer in charge of the arrests was retired shortly after. The Muslim community had begun to flex their muscles and realise their potential power.

British Muslims 'Seeking Jihadi Training Abroad'

British Muslims 'Seeking Jihadi Training Abroad' | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

The head of MI5 has warned that young British men are heading to new terror training grounds in North Africa and the Middle East.
Arab Spring revolutions in Libya, Syria and Egypt have created unstable areas where al Qaeda can thrive, said Jonathan Evans, director-general of the security service.
The terror group is establishing itself in those countries after being disrupted in Afghanistan and Pakistan, he said.
"A small number of British would-be jihadis are also making their way to Arab countries to seek training and opportunities for militant activity, as they do in Somalia and Yemen.
"Some will return to the UK and pose a threat here. This is a new and worrying development and could get worse as events unfold."
Mr Evans' warning came in a speech entitled 'The Olympics and Beyond', the inaugural Lord Mayor's defence and security lecture in the City of London.
He has cancelled all leave for his staff in the run-up to the London Olympics and made the Games security operation a priority.
He said: "The Games present an attractive target for our enemies and they will be at the centre of the world's attention in a month or so.
"No doubt some terrorist networks have thought about whether they could pull off an attack.
"But the Games are not an easy target and the fact that we have disrrupted multiple terrorist plots here and abroad in recent years demonstrates that the UK as a whole is not an easy target for terrorism."
He warned that the death of Osama bin Laden and the disruption of al Qaeda did not mean the British terror threat had evaporated.
He said: "In back rooms and in cars and on the streets of this country there is no shortage of individuals talking about wanting to mount terrorist attacks here."
There have been 43 potential terror plots or serious incidents in the UK since the 9/11 attacks in the United States, according to the Royal United Services Institute (Rusi) think tank.
The MI5 chief also highlighted the extent of the new threat to cyber security to business and government.
He said: "Vulnerabilities in the internet are being exploited aggressively not just by criminals, but also by states.
"And the extent of what is going on is astonishing - with industrial-scale processes involving many thousands of people lying behind both state-sponsored cyber espionage and organised cybe crime."
Mr Evans also warned there were concerns over developments in Iran and the uncertainty over its nuclear intentions.
Recent terror attacks on its enemies' interests abroad raised the spectre of a similar threat to the UK, he said.

Pakistan should care for its children not torment them.

Pakistan should care for its children not torment them. | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

Mehdi Hasan

Political director of The Huffington Post UK and presenter of Al Jazeera's The Cafe

You could not make it up. An 11-year old Christian girl in Pakistan with Down's Syndrome is in police custody, and could face the death penalty, for allegedly burning pages from the Quran.

The girl, who has been identified as Rifta Masih, was arrested on blasphemy charges and is being held in Islamabad pending a court appearance later this month. She was detained by police after an angry mob turned up at her family's single-roomed home in a poor district on the outskirts of the Pakistani capital.

"About 500-600 people had gathered outside her house in Islamabad, and they were very emotional, angry, and they might have harmed her if we had not quickly reacted," Pakistani police officer Zabi Ullah told reporters.

"Harmed her"? Really? I mean, really? What on Allah's earth is wrong with so many self-professed Muslims in the self-styled Islamic Republic of Pakistan? Have they taken leave of their morals as well as their senses? It beggars belief that they should want to hurt or attack a child in the name of a religion based on mercy, compassion and justice.

Some defenders of Pakistan's notorious blasphemy laws - under which anyone found guilty of insulting the Quran or Prophet Muhammad can be sentenced to death - have been keen to highlight the growing number of press reports that suggest Masih may be 16, rather than 11, and may not have Down's Syndrome.

To which the only appropriate response is: so what?

Whether she is 11 or 16, mentally able or mentally retarded is, frankly, irrelevant. For a start, a child is a child and should be treated as such. Pakistani authorities have legal as well as moral obligations. Second, even if this girl did set fire to pages from the Quran - and there is, incidentally, not a single eyewitness to this alleged 'crime' - to sentence her to death for doing so would be, to put it mildly, a grossly disproportionate 'penalty'.

Personally, I've never quite understood why so many of my co-religionists are so keen to kill or maim those who 'insult' Islam, Prophet Muhammad or the Quran. What is behind such rage and, dare I add, insecurity? Is their God so weak, so sensitive, so precious, that He cannot withstand any rejection?

Mine, for the record, isn't. As the Pakistani writer and singer Fifi Haroon noted on Twitter: "You think God needs little old you to protect him from an 11-year-old girl with Down's Syndrome? Think again."

It is worth pointing out that there is a misguided assumption among some Muslims that Pakistani-style blasphemy laws are divinely-mandated. They aren't. They were instituted by Pakistani dictator General Zia ul Haq in the 1980s, says leading Pakistani human-rights lawyer Asma Jahangir, "as a pretext for waging war in Afghanistan and adopting an aggressive stance towards India. By advancing a more orthodox version of Islam, he was able to hold on to a repressive regime and quell any opposition".

Here is the reality: the books of Islamic tradition are replete with stories of how Prophet Muhammad was verbally and physically abused by his idol-worshipping enemies in Mecca. They threw animal intestines and excrement on him; on one famous occasion, a group of homeless children threw stones and rocks at him. Yet he did not have them killed, tortured or detained. The founder of the Islamic faith, it seems, had a much thicker skin than many of its 21st Century adherents.

So far, in Pakistan, no one has yet been executed for blasphemy but, as the Guardian's Jon Boone observes, "long prison terms are common - one Christian couple was sentenced to 25 years in 2010 after being accused of touching the Qur'an with unwashed hands".

Christians have long been a target of Pakistan's ultra-conservative Islamic religious parties and movements. The blasphemy laws, in particular, are used again to criminalise Pakistani Christians on the flimsiest of pretexts; Rifta Masih, perhaps, is just the latest victim.

Of course, some of my co-religionists will soon claim that this latest story is all a Western media conspiracy - against Islam, against Muslims, against poor Pakistan. If only. Listen to Jahangir, who says those accused of blasphemy are "almost always helpless in the face of intimidation and a frightened or biased judiciary... Pakistan's future remains uncertain and its will to fight against rising religious intolerance is waning."

Listen to Zora Yusuf, head of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, who says the law "has been exploited by individuals to settle personal scores, to grab land, to violate the rights of non-Muslims, to basically harass them."

Masih's arrest even provoked Imran Khan, the country's most high-profile politician, to tweet:

"Shameful! Sending an 11yr old girl to prison is against the very spirit of Islam which is all about being Just and Compassionate."

He added:

"Poor child is already suffering from Down's Syndrome. State should care for its children not torment them. We demand her immed release."

Khan is to be commended for his public condemnation of Masih's arrest. It is a bold (dangerous?) move in a land where politicians - such as the Punjab governor Salman Taseer - have been shot dead for speaking out against the barbaric blasphemy laws.

I, for one, am fed up with politicians, mullahs and mobs using my religion to further their own vicious and sectarian agendas. So here's my own very simple message to the bigots, fanatics and reactionaries of the Islamic world: whatever intellectual or theological disagreements we may have with them, the fact is that Christians (and, for that matter, Jews) are our brethren; the Quran respectfully refers to them as the "People of the Book". Nor should we extend our tolerance, compassion and solidarity only to members of Abrahamic faiths while demonising and discriminating against everyone else. Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, agnostics, atheists - all of them are also our brethren. Don't believe me? Listen to the verdict of Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib, the great Muslim caliph and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad: "Remember that people are of two kinds; they are either your brothers in religion or your brothers in mankind."

The imprisonment of this Christian child isn't only about Pakistan or Pakistanis. Those of us who claim to be members of a global Muslim ummah cannot be silent when such flagrant human-rights abuses are committed in the name of Islam and in the world's second-biggest Muslim-majority nation. Denial is not an option, nor is turning a blind eye. We have to speak out against hate, intolerance and the bullying of non-Muslim minorities - otherwise we risk becoming complicit in such crimes. "Not in my name" has to be more than just an anti-war slogan.

Swedish rape-jihad: "police reported an average of five rapes a day in Stockholm"
The capital of Sweden is probably also the European capital of rape. Since Swedish police, politicians and media do their best to cover the Muhammad-factor, we have to look at neighbouring Scandinavian countries for a reasonable explanation:

Rape jihad in Denmark: More than half of all convicted rapists have immigrant backgrounds. Iraqis, Iranians, Turks and Somalis dramatically overrepresented...

Oslo, Norway: 69 percent increase in rapes (76 rapes in 91 days). Share of non-Westerners among 'attack-rapists': 100 percent.

Stavanger, Norway: Nine out of ten rapists are 'men from minority groups'

Norway: Muslim rapist tells victim that in Islam, women have no rights

Translated by Nicolai Sennels, DN.se, August 14: "Increase in rapes in Stockholm":

In July, police reported an average of five rapes a day in Stockholm. It is the highest figure in five years, Metro writes.
A total of 149 rapes was reported to the police in Stockholm in July. ...

It is unclear whether there is an actual increase in rapes or if it is because more victims go to the police.

"I hope that the reason for the increase is that we manage to uncover some of the rapes that are normally not reported. We work very actively on securing women's rights and we work effectively against hate crime," says Kjell Lindgren, chief information officer of the Stockholm police, to Metro.

The newspaper said that rapes of children under 15 account for the largest increase. These notifications have more than doubled compared to July 2011.

Political correctness is trumping reality in the West's approach to Syria

Political correctness is trumping reality in the West's approach to Syria | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
Why has our government decided to give greater assistance to the opponents of Assad’s regime in Syria? The answer is to be found in cliché, sentimentality and fantasy, a misperception of what is actually going on there.

There is a prevailing romantic vision of idealistic – it helps the delusion if they can be described as “young people” – aspiring democrats bravely spending their lives (and their mobile phone accounts) against the brutal dictator Assad.
No doubt Assad is a very nasty piece of work, but many of those who are opposing him are by no means pure as the driven snow; and many of them may actually be a great deal worse. The “activists” – as the relentlessly euphemistic BBC refers to Assad’s opponents – are not aspiring democrats at all. The reality is that the opposition to Assad is largely an uprising of Sunni militants whose aim is not simply to cast out the foul dictator but to exterminate all those who do not share their own extreme views: the Alawites, the Druze and the Christians especially.
You would think it incumbent on those in the press who presume to talk about international conflicts to betray at least elementary signs of political savvy: what one might call a reality quotient. But no. It’s always got to be black and white: complicated conflicts spoken of as if they were Star Wars – the simple opposition of the sons of light against the servants of darkness.
This is not the case. Has no one noticed that there is a fundamentalist, violent Islamist insurgency all across North Africa and the Middle East, extolled by the blissfully ignorant as “the Arab Spring”? Libya and Egypt are in chaos and darker forces than any imagined by the BBC and The Guardian are seizing the reins of power and will, given time, pose a more perilous threat to world peace than that exercised by such as Gaddafi or Assad.
Moreover, the revolution is not confined to North Africa and the Middle East. We must observe also what is going on in Sudan and Somalia, Mali, Yemen, Nigeria and half a dozen other loci of instability.
The fact is that every few hundred years there is a militant Islamist insurgency. It has to be defeated. It was defeated at the Battle of Tours, at Lepanto, in Malta. Only a few centuries ago, they were at gates of Vienna. And if we don’t take decisive action, they will soon be there again.
These are, as Miss Austen would say, truths universally acknowledged. Only freedom of speech and the insistence on the reality quotient is trumped by abject political correctness every time. This political-correctness will be the death of us.

Six Birmingham terror suspects in custody

Six Birmingham terror suspects in custody | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

Six Birmingham men accused of plotting a terror attack have been remanded in custody.

Jewel Uddin, 26, Omar Mohammed Khan, 27, Mohammed Hasseen, 23, Anzal Hussain, 24, Mohammed Saud and Zohaib Ahmed, both 22, appeared via video link in a preliminary Old Bailey hearing.

The men are jointly accused of preparing an act or acts of terrorism between 1 May and 4 July this year.

They were arrested after police found weapons in a car on the M1.

Guns, knives, machetes and a home-made explosive device were allegedly discovered.

Mr Uddin, Mr Khan and Mr Hasseen were arrested after a routine stop of a Renault Laguna by police on the M1, near Sheffield, on 30 June.

The weapons are said to have been found in that vehicle along with a note addressed to the English Defence League, which was planning a rally in South Yorkshire that day.

Mr Hussain, Mr Saud and Mr Ahmed, who were arrested on 4 July, were allegedly travelling in a gold Rover which was in a convoy with the Laguna.

The men face an allegation that they took part in activities including the manufacture of an improvised explosive device, the acquisition of firearms and other weapons, and the purchase of motor vehicles connected with the charges.

It follows a series of arrests by the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit, assisted by the North East Counter Terrorism Unit.

On Tuesday, the men spoke only to confirm their identities.

They were remanded in custody ahead of a hearing in January next year.

Muslim murderers given microwaves to heat food up during Ramadan!

Muslim murderers given microwaves to heat food up during Ramadan! | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
Muslim murderers have demanded and been given microwaves to heat their food up during Ramadan, leaving other prisoners at Gartree jail in Leicestershire, furious and claiming Muslims are receiving preferential treatment.

Muslim prisoners complained that last year’s food – served was cold when they began to eat it during darkness, the end of the fasting period.
Caterers will now deliver their meals, which they will warm up in ¬the microwaves provided.

Fadi Nasri, 33, who organised the murder of his special constable wife, is just one of the Muslim prisoners at the jail serving life.

One man said: “The ¬Muslim lads kicked up a stink last year over the food they received for Ramadan.

“And guess what? The authorities gave in and gave the green light. It’s a f**king liberty.

“If the non-Muslims asked for this they’d be told where to go.”

He pointed out a severe security risk that prisoners could easily smash the microwaves and use sharp pieces as weapons.

A Prison Service spokesman said: “HMP Gartree is in the process of having its kitchen rebuilt.

“A number of microwaves have been purchased for the kitchen area and for some prisoners observing Ramadan so they can heat up food in their cells.”

Hijacker could stay in UK after court victory

Hijacker could stay in UK after court victory | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
An Iraqi hijacker who helped take over a plane and held almost 200 terrified passengers at knifepoint is likely to stay in Britain after a court victory.

Mustafa Hussain is expected to be granted indefinite leave to remain – because some of his fellow hijackers have already been allowed to live here, the High Court ruled.
Hussain was among six men who took over a Sudan Airways Airbus and forced it to land at Stansted Airport in August 1996, where they claimed asylum from Saddam Hussein’s regime.
During the hijacking Hussain held a butcher’s knife while the others were also armed with knives and sauce bottles disguised as grenades.
All six were arrested and convicted of their involvement in the hijack, despite claiming they acted under duress, and were handed jail sentences ranging from five to nine years.
However, the Court of Appeal quashed their convictions in 1998 after concluding the judge in the original trial wrongly prevented the jury from considering their defence that they acted "under duress of circumstances".
Since then, two of the hijackers, including the ringleader, have been granted indefinite leave to remain (ILR).
And yesterday, Deputy High Court Judge James Dingemans QC said a decision by the Home Secretary Theresa May last year to refuse Hussain ILR was “flawed”.
He concluded that ministers had ignored "relevant matters" and that other people involved with the hijacking had been given indefinite leave.
He said Mrs May must now reconsider his case.
The plane, which had 197 people on board – was hijacked shortly after it left Sudan and, following a fuel stop in Cyprus, landed at Stansted.
In his judgment, Judge Dingemans QC said it “is obvious that the hijacking would have been terrifying experience for the innocent passengers on board”.
Hussain was a Shiite Muslim from Basra and claimed his family had suffered at the hands of the Saddam regime.
He said he had been accused of refusing to serve in the Iraqi army, detained without trial, tortured and sentenced to death.
The judge said Hussain had escaped from Iraq in 1995 and travelled to Sudan.
Hussain claimed he had been acting under "duress" when he carried out the hijacking because he had been facing execution in Iraq and feared being seized by Sudanese authorities and returned.
Hussain told the judge in a witness statement: " ... We had no choice but attempt to leave the country in the manner that he did by hijacking the Sudanese Airbus."
But in 1997, Hussain – and others – were tried and convicted for their respective roles in the hijacking.
Hussain was given a five-year prison sentence.
A year later, appeal judges had quashed convictions and no retrial was ordered.
In the High Court he was challenging a decision to refuse indefinite leave taken in October 2011.
Hussain complained that others involved in the hijacking had been granted indefinite leave to remain – and argued that he was treated inconsistently.
Home Office ministers had resisted Hussain's claim and denied "any unlawfulness" in their decision-making process.

Armed police police stop a coach on the motorway in the West Midlands.

Armed police police stop a coach on the motorway in the West Midlands. | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

The M6 Toll motorway has been closed after armed counter-terrorism police stopped a coach in the West Midlands.

Sky's crime correspondent Martin Brunt said the passengers had been removed and the vehicle was being searched.

The Highways Agency confirmed that the motorway had been closed in both directions following a "police-led" incident.

The operation came just hours after a reportedly unrelated operation in which five men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.

The six suspects - aged between 18 and 30 - were arrested by armed police in pre-planned operation at locations across London and taken to a police station in the south-east of the capital where they remain in custody.

A 24-year-old man was tasered during his arrest at a house in east London but did not require hospital treatment, police said.

Brunt said: Scotland Yard's counter-terrorism unit had been watching these people for some time, perhaps several weeks.

"I am being told at the moment that there is no suggestion that whatever this plot was, and it was a plot to cause explosions or bombs of some description, the Olympic Games don't appear to have been the target."

He added that Jonathan Evans, the Director General of MI5, said in a speech a week ago "there are lots of plots going on, being discussed on the streets of Britain".

"He made it quite clear that there is continuing concern that there a lot of people who are thinking about, or plotting terrorist attacks in the UK. He also made the point that there is a new wave of British men that is travelling to terrorist training camps in the Middle East."

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: "Searches under the Terrorism Act 2000 are being carried out at eight residential premises in east, west and north London and one business premises in east London.

"Public safety remains our overriding concern."

Burka-wearing thief steals jewels

Burka-wearing thief steals jewels | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
A thief in Manchester steals a "large quantity of jewellery" from a shop while disguised in a burka.

The person dressed in the full body cloak and walking with a pushchair stood outside Choice Jewellers on Wilmslow Road at 11:35 BST on Sunday.

A police spokesman said staff had opened the locked door because they thought the person was a customer.

The person then blocked the door open with the pushchair, allowing armed accomplices to enter and steal "a large quantity of jewellery" before escaping.

The spokesman said all four offenders had been armed with axes, which were used to threaten staff and smash jewellery cabinets.

After staff deployed a device which filled the store with thick smoke, the four were forced out of the Rusholme shop.

They then smashed the shop window to try to get more jewellery before escaping in a car down Walmer Street.

Det Con Ian Wrench said anyone offered jewellery by "anyone other than a licensed dealer" should contact police, as the four "who carried out this frightening robbery need to be caught".

Remembering 7/7 - The Bombers

Remembering 7/7 - The Bombers | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

The four men who carried out the 7 July bombings were young Muslim Britons who had led apparently ordinary lives. Their profiles are below.

Mohammad Sidique Khan, 30, Edgware Road bomber
A married father-of-one and teaching assistant, Mohammad Sidique Khan was the oldest of the bombers and is thought to have taken the lead role.
Raised in Beeston, Leeds, he was the youngest of six children born to Pakistani immigrants who had taken British citizenship.

Friends from his teenage years recall a highly Westernised young man who insisted on being called "Sid".

Khan was known to the MI5, but officers assigned to investigate him were diverted to another operation.

Following the attacks a video message recorded by Khan emerged in which he said he was a "soldier" at "war".

His bomb, detonated on a westbound Circle Line train, killed seven people.

Shehzad Tanweer, 22, Aldgate bomber
Shehzad Tanweer was born in Bradford but lived most of his life in the Beeston area of Leeds.
Neighbours described the sports science graduate as a "nice lad" who could "get on with anyone". Friends said he was very religious, but did not express an interest in politics.

In 2004 he travelled to the Pakistani city of Karachi along with Khan.

The two became known to the security services, but were on the periphery of other surveillance operations.

Tanweer detonated his bomb on the eastbound Circle line, killing seven others.

Jamaican-born British resident Germaine Lindsay spent his childhood in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, not far from the other bombers' homes.
He converted to Islam in 2000, took the name Jamal and, at around the same time, started to associate with troublemakers.

At school he was disciplined for handing out leaflets in support of al-Qaeda.

In many ways Lindsay's life was unsettled, but in 2002 he married a white convert to Islam, with whom he had a young boy. A daughter was born after his death.

Lindsay carried out the most deadly of the bombings, killing 26 on the Piccadilly line train.

Hasib Mir Hussain, 18, Tavistock Square bomber
Teenager Hasib Hussain was known as a quiet student with few friends whose life attracted little outside attention during his early teens.
Hussain was a second generation British citizen whose parents were of Pakistani origin. He grew up in Holbeck, on the outskirts of Leeds, and was the youngest of four children. He was still living with his parents when he died.

While still at school, he went on the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.

His family said they were "devastated" to learn he was the bus bomber who claimed 13 lives on 7 July.

Syrian Rebels Ransack Christian Churches

Shocking images have emerged which show the aftermath of Christian churches ransacked by NATO-backed Syrian rebels, illustrating once again how western powers are supporting Muslim extremists in their bid to achieve regime change in the middle east.

A photograph provided to us by a Christian woman in Homs, scene of some of the bloodiest clashes of the conflict, shows a member of the Free Syrian Army posing with a looted Catholic cross in one hand and a gun in the other while wearing a priest’s robe.
“Everyone knows simply removing these garments from the church is a sin. The priest is the only one who wears them too. They even pray before putting them on. Him posing in front of the funeral car as well is disgusting to the max,” our source told us.
“They destroyed the church and went in to film it. I know this for a fact.”
“The Robes can only be worn by Deacons or Priests or Sub-Deacons, and they a Christian man wouldn’t hold a Cross in one hand and a gun in another,” the woman adds
Another image shows a ransacked church in Bustan al-Diwan (Old Homs).

While Syrian rebels busy themselves ransacking Christian churches, they also rallying around the Al-Qaeda flag just as their counterparts did in Libya.

Why are western governments who are supposed to be engaged in a ‘war on terror’ against radical Muslim terrorists handing those very same terrorists control over entire countries?

British National Party activists force MPs to examine Child Grooming

British National Party activists force MPs to examine Child Grooming | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it

An prominent group of MPs have set in motion a new inquiry to scrutinise the full extent of localised grooming of children for sexual exploitation – and determine ways to stop it.

The House of Commons Home Affairs Select Committee said it would examine the demands of bringing successful pursuits– and whether existent arrangements set up to prevent and detect grooming are fit for purpose.

The committee indicated that its analysis would inspect the numbers of victims in local authority care – and whether the current measures for activating involvement by social services takes sufficient account of the signs of localised grooming.

The inquiry will also investigate the help provided to victims and witnesses by a range of institutions such as the Crown Prosecution Service, police and voluntary departments and whether they are able to step in at an early stage.

It will also explore whether Local Safeguarding Children Boards have enforced vital aspects of national guidance on child sexual exploitation and the standard of data collection, sharing and research relating to child victims of localised grooming.

Committee members heard verification on this subject earlier in the month from organisations including Greater Manchester Police and the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre as well as the Deputy Children’s Commissioner for England.

Committee Chairman Keith Vaz said: “The committee were shocked to hear that the number of victims of child sexual exploitation runs into the thousands. Child grooming is a national issue that requires thorough investigation.

“We have decided to launch an inquiry so that we can deal with the causes and find solutions to prevent this kind of outrage from happening and bring the perpetrators to justice.”

British National Party activists can hold their heads up high, without them this sordid practice would still be hushed up and ignored by the Powers that Be.

A Taliban fighter claiming asylum in Britain? This is a Wolverhampton wanderer we'd be better off without

A Taliban fighter claiming asylum in Britain? This is a Wolverhampton wanderer we'd be better off without | Race & Crime UK | Scoop.it
RICHARD LITTLEJOHN: A Taliban fighter granted asylum in Britain is just the latest example of the abuse of Britain’s hospitality as a result of the pernicious European Human Rights Act.

How many countries do you think there are between England and Afghanistan? Well, it all depends. As the drone flies, there’s Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Greece, Italy and France.
If you prefer the scenic route, there’s Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Germany, the Netherlands.
Not in any particular hurry? Then you could always try diverting through Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Macedonia, Albania, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic. I’m told Prague is very pretty at this time of year.

Certainly, if you were making your way the 3,500 miles to Britain by road, you’d have to pass through at least half a dozen sovereign countries before you reached the English Channel.
We know that Zareen Ahmadzai travelled here by lorry from Afghanistan in 2010. So he must have crossed some of those countries.
Under international law, anyone seeking asylum is supposed to apply in the first ‘safe’ country they arrive in.
Yet Ahmadzai failed to lodge any application until he was discovered holed up at an address in Wolverhampton.
It was only after he was arrested as an illegal immigrant that he appealed to a tribunal on the grounds that his life would be in danger if he was returned to Afghanistan.
Back home, Ahmadzai was a Taliban fighter, like his father, a commander who was shot dead during a battle against U.S. troops in Helmand Province. He admits firing Kalashnikov rifles and rockets and killing people.

But he fled the country and now claims he would face death or torture at the hands of both the Taliban and the Afghan National Security Forces. Which is why he legged it to Wolverhampton.
We are not told why he chose Wolverhampton, in particular. He doesn’t even speak English. As an Afghan Muslim, surely he would have felt more at home in neighbouring Pakistan, or Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan.
Perhaps he felt these countries were a little too close for comfort.
But nor are we told why Ahmadzai did not apply for asylum in, say, France or Turkey, as he was required to do under the international convention long before he arrived in the Black Country.
I think we can accurately assume the answer is that he knew of Britain’s reputation as one of the world’s most benevolent safe havens for terrorists.
Perhaps word had reached him of the way in which Al Qaeda leaders, African torturers and assorted genocidal maniacs are indulged by the British courts.

He headed here because he knew he would receive a sympathetic hearing and the chances of him ever being deported were close to zero.
Even though he has no right to be in Britain — and arguably poses a danger to this country — there is no shortage of well-briefed human rights lawyers to argue his case. And it hasn’t cost him a penny.
Although the Home Office rejected his asylum application, after an extensive and expensive voyage through the appeals process, Ahmadzai has finally found a judge prepared to grant him the legal right to remain in Britain.
Taxpayers can also expect a claim for compensation for the time he spent in detention awaiting deportation — clearly a serious breach of his fundamental yuman rites. On past precedent, he’s almost certain to be awarded what is known in the trade as a ‘nice drink’ running into five figures.
We are not allowed to know where he is currently living, but don’t be surprised if he turns out to be shacked up rent-free in a council house, with a 52-inch telly and a range of generous benefits.
The UK Borders Agency can’t be blamed for this fiasco. It caught Ahmadzai, locked him up and would have deported him had it not been for the perverse intervention of the courts.

This is just the latest example of the abuse of Britain’s hospitality as a result of the pernicious European Human Rights Act.
Time after time, week after week, our judges refuse to deport even the most violent and undesirable foreign nationals.
Before he came to office, Call Me Dave promised to pull Britain out of the European yuman rites racket and replace it with a home-grown British Bill of Rights. But now he says the Lib Dems won’t let him and he is afraid to call their bluff.
So we will continue to endure these outrageous abuses of the asylum system. Who will defend the rights of the British people?
Not the Government, obviously. And certainly not the self-serving, self-perpetuating clique of lawyers who control the yuman rites arena.
It has just been revealed that the hot favourite to become Britain’s next judge on the European Court of Human Rights is one Ben Emmerson QC.

If successful, Mr Emmerson will be appointed for nine years and will receive £150,000 a year, tax-free, plus other perks. So who is this paragon of jurisprudence?
Mr Emmerson helped set up the specialist human rights law firm Matrix Chambers with the Wicked Witch and has defended a series of foreign terrorists fighting deportation from this country, including Abu Qatada, Osama bin Laden’s spiritual adviser, who has been playing the British legal system at taxpayers’ expense for more than a decade.
So the man we are likely to send to Strasbourg to represent Britain’s interests is the very lawyer who has made a decent living fighting tooth and nail to prevent us kicking out one of the world’s most notorious terror suspects.
I suppose we could always try applying for asylum in Azerbaijan.
