More great universities. More amazing courses. Huge Coursera welcome to our 17 new partners! | My Senior Project For High School | Scoop.it

Today, we are thrilled to welcome 17 more universities — including four international schools — onto Coursera.

These 17 universities will expand the course offerings even further, adding new classes in the fields of music, medicine, and humanities (among other disciplines) from renowned professors like Arnold Weinstein of Brown University and Grammy award winning Gary Burton from Berklee College of Music. We are proud of the diversity of the course offerings — such as “The Science of Gastronomy” from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and “Financial Engineering and Risk Management” from Columbia University. Many of these courses are pushing the boundaries of what was thought to be possible to teach online.

All-American Pizza and Homemade Pizza Sauce Recipe | Barbara ... | My Senior Project For High School | Scoop.it

Christine Szalay-Kudra's curator insight, April 23, 2013 1:55 AM

A great pizza recipe begins with a great crust, and using instant yeast to make it means the dough only needs to rest for 15 minutes rather than hours. The pizza in this recipe is topped with generous amounts of cheese and tomatoes, as well as ingredients like garlic, red pepper flakes and basil. There is so much difference between a homemade pizza like this one and something you order from Domino's or buy frozen from the store.

Making your own pizza can be surprisingly quick and easy and most people who have tasted homemade pizza always feel that something is 'lacking' from a store-bought one. You can also get creative and change the dough, the sauce or the toppings when making your own, to ensure the pizza fits perfectly with your palate and your idea of the perfect pizza.
