Churches win fight to rule on schools | My Scotland | Scoop.it
MOVES at Holyrood to stop councils having to appoint religious representatives to local education committees have been dropped.
rableather's insight:
I was asked about this during the referendum campaign and had no idea what the lady was talking about. However she said she had been told in chapel by the priest that John Swinney of the SNP was try to move it. I did not about the bill. I did know who John Swinney was and that only added to my confusion. Why would the chancellor do this? So I am so pleased to read this article because at last I know what that lady was on about. I make no comment on the bill in any way shape or form.
