There are 4 steps to becoming a social worker.

1.Fulfill the necessary educational requirements for Washington social work licensure

2.Complete the necessary work experience required for your desired licensure.

3.Now, you can submit the Washington social work licensure application to the Washington State Department of Health. You will need to include all supporting documents and required fees.

4.Once the Department has reviewed your application, you will be notified of your eligibility to take the appropriate level exam

There are two main types of social workers: direct-service social workers, who help people solve and cope with problems in their everyday lives, and clinical social workers, who diagnose and treat mental, behavioral, and emotional issues.

I learned that in 2010 social workers make $42,480 per year and $20.42 per hour. A bachelor’s degree is required for most direct-service social work positions, but some positions and settings require a master’s degree. Clinical social workers must have a master’s degree. Social workers work in a variety of settings, including mental health clinics, schools, hospitals, and private practices. They generally work full time and may need to work evenings and weekends.

I found out that there are TONS of different types of Lawyers. Not just ones about Juvenials, Crime, and Divorce..

 

My Thoughts: I only thought there were the main types of lawyers (juvenial, crime, and divorce) but there are a bunc of different types like Bankruptcy Lawyers, Autism Lawyers, Dog Bite Lawyers, and more. I didnt know that there where lawyers for the little things in life.

University of Washington-Bothell Campus has a variety of different areas I could major in. Like business and law. Its a really nice campus too. Its more of a community college type campus but its a 4 year university.
