Lesser Known Food Industry Jobs | My Culinary Journey | Scoop.it
While shows like Top Chef and other reality shows has really lit the fire for the culinary industry they only allot for less than half of the big picture of the food industry jobs that are out there. A culinary degree or certificate opens up an amazing array of job opportunities.
Of course if your goal is to be a personal chef, restaurant chef or any of the other cooking focused career field than culinary school is a necessity but there is so much more you can do with a culinary school background.

This article explained a few of the different careers that you can become invovled in rather than just working in the kitchen. The oppertunities range from working as a food critic, to teaching others how to cook. One that interested me was Food Science. This has to do with creating new foods and flavours. Overall it was an interesting article.
