This is an article by Christian Menno. it is about how Michael Risich became successful in the automobile business with he technological advancements. He developed software that allowed he tract progress of the customers' vehicles and got rid of any miscommunication errors. In the article, Risich looks back on how he got to where he is now.

The plant was built and will be operated by BASF Sonatrach PropanChem S.A. (BSP), a joint venture between BASF and the Algerian company Sonatrach. This is a link to a pdf of "why the Rich Are Getting Richer and the Poor, Poorer" by Robert Reich. Reich ,in his paper, goes into economics. He describes in detail why jobs have begun to disappear and why some jobs have such low salaries. He goes into routine production and writes about how technology and out sourcing jobs has decreased the amount of routine producers in the United states. Reich also explains that why servers wages are low is because people that have lost there jobs a looking for jobs creating greater completion making any server replaceable. He says that why the rich are getting richer is because of worldwide demand. After explaining why, he explains the need for balance in the economy.

"Urgency needed for prosthesis advancement" is a news article by Dr. Kevin Stone. In the article, Stone talks about Hugh Herr's advancement in prosthetics. Herr had developed prosthetics that allowed free movement of the prosthetic that let a dancer who had lost her leg to dance again. Stone also mentions the great need for these prosthetics, but the cost for them is to high for an average person to be able to pay for. Stone then talks about the necessity for a cheaper versions of the prosthetics and how they could help society especially veterans that have lost limbs.

In this youtube clip, Andrew McAfee speaks about technology advancement. He explains that companies are investing in technology. He talks about advancement in AIs, cars, and other forms of technology. He speaks of a self driving car and how this technology could be used to replace truck drivers. McAfee answers the question with yes droids are taking our jobs, but he stays hopeful that the improvement from technology will be greater than the jobs lose. He uses an example of third world villages getting smartphones.

This is a link to my scoop it. My English 101 is doing a project using scoop it as a form of an annotated bibliography to prepare us for and argumentative essay . We have to have ten sources, and to get the topic for project we had to get inspiration from our text book. My topic is that technology is eliminating too many jobs. We have to include several different types of references ranging from an image to a youtube video.
