Apparently, being worried about free users taking advantage of the system, is more important than the artist getting paid. I know what it takes to when it comes to selling music. First, you need a fan base to promote the music. Second, only offer 1 subscription plan. Third, keep the respect for the artist, don't be greedy!

In a nutshell, if the artist wrote the song, then they deserve to get paid 11.1% according to Bandzoogle (http://tinyurl.com/z6om2zr). But if the artist has a songwriter, then in my opinion the percentage should be split 50/50. The artist wouldn't even have their 50% if it wasn't for the songwriter in the first place.
