While it's great that this project is empowering teachers to utilize music in their classrooms, I do have to wonder if they are being facilitated with proper pedagogy i.e. singing in head voice, in the correct key, and with a steady beat. I would also hope that the "music-based activities" were created by the appropriate authorities.

Although music theory is important and necessary, students need to experience music in multiple ways, including playing instruments and exploring. Exploring with the few notes they know is a good thing! Skill and drill can only go far in terms of creating that awesome aesthetic experience.
