Special Offer from Music Business Education

Whether you are an artist or whether you want to have a career behind the scenes in the music industry, it's time to take a big positive step forward.

Music Business Education has a brilliant on-line music business course that will give you all the tools and knowledge that you need to fast-track your career.

I've created this course personally and I deliver it in 44 clear, easy to follow modules that you can do in your own time and at your own speed. No need to incur a big student loan or attend an inner-city campus a few days a week.

This is the same information that I've provided to former students that have gone on to have great careers in the music business. Already in 2017 I've had former students get jobs at two major booking agencies, a very cool music publishing company, become the tour manager for a triple j Hottest 100 artist and another star student get a job at triple j unearthed ahead of 500 other applicants. There's been a number of my students working at big festivals over the summer too. It's incredibly satisfying!

And that doesn't even count the numerous young (and not so young) artists who have advanced their careers with the knowledge I've been able to provide.

You can join these success stories. Until the end of February the Music Business Education Course is available to subscribers at a special price of $299. That's $200 off the normal retail price, but its only until the end of February (and that means the 28th!!)

And, it’s for the first 50 enrolments only.

Will you be one of them?

Go to http://musicbusinesseducation.com.au/video-lessons/ straight away.

Once you get to the check out type 'special offer' in the coupon field to claim the $200 discount

This article connects well with industry because it discusses two different industries that are competing on the amount of paying customers  each one is getting. My opinion of this topic is that it is interesting to read about different types of industries and how they compete with each other.

Jermarcus Brown's curator insight, November 13, 2016 5:06 PM

The way I see this is, You have artist that want some fans actually Buying cd's. So even though the streaming could be a good thing, Most labels pay out more for actual cd's hard copy. Streaming actual have a big lawsuit on alot of music now. Many people can go on youtube and find a song or instrumental and find a internet source to download it for free now they have a free track. artists are not getting paid nor labels. I feel as if we want to get our payout for our music we need to come up with a source to pay artist for only the music that they actual want to put out and no one can download it for free with out there approvel.

Michael Hooper's curator insight, November 13, 2016 8:23 PM

This article is current and quotes many valuable credible members in the music industry from major record labels. It was written to inform people about how streaming is now changing the source of income in the music industry from retail to steaming and paid subscription services.  Like Netflix and Hulu are to blame for the decrease in retail movie sales, pandora and other music streaming sites have did the same to cd sales. Although this is happening and may have changed the  music industry the tech companies that run and support the sites aren't making much of a profit.
