Lifesize Lady Gaga music players launched in Japan - The Japan Daily Press

Lifesize Lady Gaga music players launched in Japan - The Japan Daily Press | Music Education | Scoop.it
Not one, but three Lady Gagas were spotted in Tokyo, as music player doppelgänger of the Paparazzi singer were unveiled on Thursday. Sporting long, sleek,
Courtney McClay's insight:

I think this goes to show the extent of Lady Gaga's "Monsters". I, personally, wouldn't be able to have a life size music player. Lady Gaga has always been known to have the confidence and ambiguous attitude. These life-size music players were released in japan and have skyrocketing sales. Just four hours after her release, there was her own Yahoo Lady Gaga page. It's called the "Gaga Doll". "They were so excited to take pictures of me with the dolls and then all of a sudden the dolls took over. And the dolls were the most important thing in the room. And this is a beautiful thing." If i was in the room with Lady Gaga and her Gagadolls, I'm sure I'd still be attracted to the human form of her vs. the doll. Can Will.i.am's Smartwatch Save The Music Industry? - hypebot

Can Will.i.am's Smartwatch Save The Music Industry? - hypebot | Music Education | Scoop.it

The new device is expected in July and allows you to do such things as make phone calls and listen to your music. Will.i.am unveiled a prototype on an English tv show, "Alan Carr: Chatty Man." I may be the first but I definitely won't be the last to ask, can this "smart.phone.watch" save the music industry? Apparently Will.i.am had previously been spotted on "The Voice BBC" with his smartwatch which led to...
Courtney McClay's insight:

I think that Will.i.am is very innovative in the music industry. I think that coming up with creative ideas and giving people something new is the only way that you can survive in the music industry. His watch is supposed to come out in July, you should be able to call, text and listen to all of your favorite songs.

What is different about his watch is it doesn't have to be connected to a smart phone. "Mobile music that you wear is a lot different that mobile music that you carry". They're saying that it will completely save and change the music industry because it is a complete different style of music. You're not carrying device, you're wearing it.

Like Dr. Dre and his beats.
