I feel this article hit the nail on the head. Music is more than just listening to a song, it's really feeling what the composer felt when they wrote the song. Music is all about emotion and that's why people feel so attached. The hear a song and can relate it to a significant part of their life, or they can even write notes on a paper and tell a story. The article said that music is a language and I completely agree. Just as how people can use English as a language, for example, music can also be a language.
