YouTube Music may slip to 2014, but what about Beats Music?

YouTube Music may slip to 2014, but what about Beats Music? | music | Scoop.it

2013 has been a momentous year for digital music for all sorts of reasons, but as we enter its home straight, two of the most-anticipated new music services of the year haven’t yet launched – and look increasingly likely to slip to 2014.

Dj Pusha's insight:

I like the idea is using since people already use youtube for a major source in music streaming. Them taking the spotify route is a good idea  because its bringing more access to one site instead of have to use 2 diffrent sites or apps almost like when instagram started doin videos  what do i need to use vine for now. Youtube doing this is a great step for them but might hurt other site such as spotify or pandora being that you can do everything from youtube once they launch this feature.

What's next? Beats Music or YouTube Music?

Jonathan Magee's curator insight, December 4, 2013 1:42 PM

Youtube will provide two new services in 2014, YouTube Music  and Beats Music (which is a streaming service that allows users to tap into their camera roll to access personal media). Both services have been introduced to record labels behind the scenes to positive and even negative reactions and possibility that good things may come from this endeavor maybe not.

Dj Pusha's insight:

I think this is a excellent idea and the next step to the future of accessing music in cars. The way i see it is are cars our goin to be computers they self in near future I heard that all cars after 2015 will have internet or internet radio in them and with the CD dying to mp3 era cars are goin to have less cd player and more ways to stream and access music digitally. With that being said I love what there doin an look forward to seeing how advanced cars will get when it comes down to accessing music and internet

Play Music app for Google Glass gets official but I’m not tuning in

Play Music app for Google Glass gets official but I’m not tuning in | music | Scoop.it
After teasing the feature last month, Google officially added a Play Music app for its Google Glass device on Monday.

Via Thomas Faltin
Dj Pusha's insight:

I think google glass officially adding play music app is a good idea

because it makes it more convenient for user to access and listen to there music  also I think its a good idea because with the way technology is goin this is another great new way in  keeping up with the world on listening to music .

I think its a bad idea because after doin my research apparently google glass battery life spand is not that long so constantly using it for music will defintly put ware and tare on battery life also depending on ram how will music feature effect the rest of google glass features it might slow everything else down and not to be anti technology but having your vision half detracted by device and if your ears are detracted from device at the same time how safe if this product when walking or in motion because you totally away from real world
