Wow I think its amazing that these tools can bring it to the forefront of the mind. Although is it conveying music or "mixtapes" or "cover tunes." I have a hard time finding whats new and music to what some one sampled. Delete the scoop?

""Interactive” is an overused buzzword, but it’s also an actual thing that means something. In the case of music, it can mean all sorts of things from jumping up and down, to playing an iPhone guitar, to playing videogames that go along with the music. In pursuit of that last element, Intel has opened its deep pockets to allow Pitchfork to choose its favorite songs for which Kill Screen will make interactive music videogames." Delete the scoop?

"Is this a simple case of dumb money, or the beginnings of a totally new industry? Because for all the collapse and total devaluation being experienced by the music industry, there are still plenty of people willing to gamble. That is, to the tune of roughly $621 million in 2012 alone according to Digital Music News stats, which now turns out to be roughly 1 in 43 dollars committed by the broader VC investment community last year. "Forget, for the moment, about how much Spotify pays out to artists.
Focus instead on the nature of those payouts.
