"Broadcast yourself" in Echtzeit und "social" ... Ich filme mich selbst, wie ich andere beim Filmen beobachte?

Tagmotion's curator insight, January 26, 2013 11:54 PM

Could this be a fillip for musicians......broadcast performances live to the web via social media? With an option of charging fans to watch?

Tagmotion's comment, January 26, 2013 11:56 PM
Could this could be a new way for some musicians/performers to make money....especially those with a fan base on social media, willing to pay to watch in realtime?

Medium now lets anyone publish behind its paywall

Medium now lets anyone publish behind its paywall | Multimedia Journalism | Scoop.it
Medium is expanding its subscription efforts today by allowing any author or publisher to join its partner program. That's the program where readers can pay..

Lori Laurent Smith's curator insight, October 12, 3:48 AM
Blogging will always remain a critical pillar holding up a thought leader's reputation. Medium always has well-written, shareable, erudite people behind their posts (much more than Blogger or Wordpress, where the blog abandonment rate after a handful of posts is approaching Tumblr levels. They also offer truly pathetic  templates with the worst font options available.

With the rise of crowdfunding to support writers who can be paid appropriate compensation for the hours (days?) they work to deliver thought=provoking content, it's refreshing to see Medium opening up to let everyone join their partner program.

From the article: "In September, 83 percent of those who published paywalled stories received money — the largest payment for a single author was $2,279.12, the largest payment for a single publication was $1,466.68 and the average payment was $93.65."
