In the year of launch they were able to successfully sale 10 lakh mobile pieces, whereas this year they are planning to sale around 5 million mobile pieces in India only. For this they have even planned to launch mobile phones with support to local Indian languages including Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Punjabi. Addressing to the Press Conference Mr Arvind R Vohra also showed his concern about growing online sale of Gionee mobiles at leading ecommerce websites.
