Turks And Caicos Is The Perfect Caribbean Island

Turks And Caicos Is The Perfect Caribbean Island | Ms Patel's Identity: GSPEC | Scoop.it
If we’re giving points for convenience, ease of planning, water gorgeousness, and we-know-how-to-roll-out-the-welcome-mat-for-visitors, I’m giving the blue ribbon to Turks and Caicos.
Pooja Patel's insight:

One of my favorite places to be in this world is right on a beach next to the water....or, in the water.  I am called a water baby by my family.  My brother and I love the water.  It is so calming and playful.  The water in Turks and Caicos is just gorgeous.  It is literally turquoise and it is calm.  You can sit in it for hours and just look at the sea life that comes swimming by you.  The geography that I would prefer to be next to on a regular basis is the water.  I revisited this island this summer with my husband and fell in love with it again.  I would love anyone who is a water baby to go to this island, and enjoy the topography of white sandy beaches, calm gorgeous water, and the warm climate.  I loved it.

This summer my husband and I got a private tour of the island on wave runners.  We both shared one wave runner and the tour guide had his own.  We got to go all around the island and view the island from water in multiple angles.  It was so beautiful.  We could see and feel the different types of water, especially how it got rockier as we moved away from the shore, see the smaller inhabited islands that are part of Turks and Caicos, see different see animals, and view various private homes and hotels that were on the oceanfront.  The geography was so beautiful on this island.

Pooja Patel's insight:

New Jersey.  I was born here, moved around to various places in the US and returned back.  This was all because of my father's work. I have lived here, now, since I was in 5th grade.  It is home.  I know people complain and make fun of New Jersey and refer to it as the "armpit" of America, but I beg to differ.  It is one of the most populated states in the US and it is my home and home to most of my beloved family.  I live in a town called Fort Lee, but grew up in a more suburban town further north than Fort Lee named Norwood.  I love the county that I live in...Bergen County.  It is truly suburban.  It is quiet, has many trees, a variety of hills, low lands, and flat lands.  There are many resevoirs and if you drive further down south, you will also be able to enjoy swimming at the beach in the Jersey shore.  We get all four seasons, and the gardening is beautiful.  This is why Jersey is called the "The Garden State."  If you have eaten corn this summer in the US, it is probably from Jersey.  The geography of this state is varied.  And, I love living in Bergen County for it is the best of both worlds:  I get the quiet suburban life, and I am literally only a few minutes form the hustle and bustle of NYC.
