11 Mind Mapping Apps for the iPad

11 Mind Mapping Apps for the iPad | mrpbps iDevices | Scoop.it

Mind mapping is a method that works for quite a lot of people. Brain storming, idea mapping, thought generation, think tanks – call it what you will. Traditionally done on large pieces of paper, why not use your iPad to create mind maps? You could use these for your own purposes, or “convert” those large flip charts into a smaller, digital version.

John Pearce's insight:

Though this list is missing a couple of apps it is still quite useful espcially with the inclusion of the extended annotations.

"It’s not often that I write a specific post on a specific app but I am today. I’ve been using the app ‘Grafio’ for some time now. I found it because I was looking for an app that I could use to create my own infographics ..... and this was the best recommendation I received."

John Pearce's insight:

I've just downloaded the Lite version of this app and it is very intuitive and easy to get started with albeit on the iPhone a little tricky to work with when using fat fingers. Though by no means impossible on the phone, when opened on the iPad it is just a really nice app to use. The capability to add images from your Camera roll as well as add audio to shapes makes it a great addition.
